I Have used Alipay on Aliexpress and it is very safe. Sellers on Alibaba wont take Alipay they want Paypal and those of us without it are left looking for options of payment plus the fear of our money gone.

I know of Aliexpress escrow. Aliexpress or Alibaba will protect your money. You will be given many days to confirm that you have received the goods in good condition and as described. If not, you can open a dispute, and the seller must resolve it with you, otherwise, he /she will not get paid. But i have not tried using Alipay alone. I have always used paypal. I will have to give Alipay a try.

You won't know the rate he'll use until your goods arrive. Just know he used black market rate and it depends on the rate of that particular day.

Hello house, thanks for the valuable info on this thread. I shipped items through Happy time Express and so far so good. Susanna responds to WhatsApp messages, sent me a picture of my package on the scales when she received them... She's honest too, as the seller had packed everything and weighed it at 12.5kg but she told me it was 11.5kg. I asked for express shipping, they got to her around noon (our time) last week Thursday and I got a message and later a call to pickup on Saturday.
I just got back to Lagos today so I'd go tomorrow. Will keep everyone updated.
