So out of the four countries he is eligible for, how many of them have the fa president and head coaches gone to make him see reasons to choose us?

If care is not taken, we've gone to him more than thrice and other countries haven't done so as much as I know.

Even at that in showing that we need him more as you said, he hasn't committed to us yet.

Should we send Pinnick 5 more times or what's your suggestion on how best we should approach him?
Algeria has made more efforts than Nigeria.

You think he doesn't know why he said he'll make his choice "after the world cup playoffs?"

Komekn once gave us assurance that Eze would play for us after he got his EPL contracted signed...Which big money move is coming for him, given that he hasn't proven anything exceptional yet?

I really blame Rohr for this Eze situation..After the world cup, it was clear that we needed reinforcement in the midfield with Iwobi and Mikel being the only available creative midfielders we had (the experiment with Etebo failed). But somehow, Rohr kept ingnoring Eze and calling up the regular midfield of Mikel, Ndidi,Etebo, Ogu and Iwobi
I hear Newcastle are interested in a 45milli move. Maybe that one dey burst him head. He will surely get an offer from a top 6-Epl team soon. But he doesn't know his only ptions is Nigeria.

His advicers aren't doing him well. England will NEVER take Eze to a world-cup or euros in this lifetime. Na only friendly them go use am do 'try your luck' then dump am.

And yes, all this is as a result of Rohr being too conservative to defensive players and resenting creatively showboating players. Eze prolly felt we dished him when he was nothing (when he came to camp once) and now wants him. But the shakara will come back to hurt him in the future.

Me nor too send am again.

He needs us more than we need him.

you're right...
The begging part is Eze's
What I had with Olise is his decision to join us only of we qualify for WC and TBH, that doesn't sit well with me.
We're not gonna drop those who laboured through the qualifiers for one FBs. Are we?
The thing is that Eze feels he's doing us.

Na here we dey. He will come begging. But it might be too late. We won't need him anymore.

Olise case different.

His options are many so we need to be aggressive in our approach. And even please him, if need be. And yes— With the promise to the world cup.

Na Olise wan come play for Nigeria ?

Person weh wan observe weda we go qualify or not
Na why I say "focus".

It is not easy for the dude.

Make we do our part qualify first. His options are many. Nor be him fault. Especially when you're surrounded by people who tell you so many negative things about Nigeria.

My own is that, should we get better options who are better or in the same category as they are, make we leave them focus on the ones we get. E.g Amoo and any other.

But we nor too get options huh. So you see. We need then as options too. undecided

Eze is hoing his "big money" move in the coming summer would help him regain England attention, and perhaps a call up. And so he doesn't want to throw that opportunity away for a super eagles call.

My take is that we should focus on Olise and leave him alone for good.

Why?
Olise is confused.

He has about 4 options. You don't expect him to make a rash decision. Put yourself in his shoes and see from his perspective. We are not begging him. We are trying to make him see why he should pick us and not the other teams. It is called diplomacy. And in this case, the one who wants it more, who produces more benefits to the player's interest, wins.

It is not begging.

from your second paragraph...
If I approach a girl twice and she turned me down, she may be playing hard to get..I will go home and restrategize and approach her again but begging her to accept my advance is out of it. The worst of it all is when she starts giving a guy not up to my standard a green light (I'm talking about Eze here), I will move on.

Now, to your last paragraph, the one that's available . I don't know what you meant by AVAILABLE in your first post but if it means she is willing to go with you, then there you have it
I stopped reading when I saw beg.

I like this your logic ehn.... So if a lady rejected you thrice and was even willing to date a guy not up to your standard, you will still go back and beg her right?
There is a saying 'marry who love you more than you love her' why? Because she would be ready to do anything for you...she will be ready to ride with you through thick and thin.(this is what Thegoodjoe meant by passion)

Now, if the lady that rejected you thrice now decided to accept your advance, that's when you become a Simp pro max ... She will automatically become the husband while you become the wife...she will be the one dictating for you...she may decide one day to break up with you and there is nothing you can do, she can even roll out a timetable for you and you will follow it whether you like it or not ....

To the girl that will only date you when you're ready made (Olise) , as you know that life can't be rosy all the time, how sure are you that she will stay with you throughout the down times?
Passion can develop. Stop making it seem one sided.

It is hard explaining simple things here sometimes.

I did not say beg or force or pick who reject you. Abeg!

You just gotta make effort and not give up on people too easily. That same woman who initially turned you down probably needed time to decide what was best for her. It is all about self interest. Stop twisting my point.

Now, who is the one that love you more by the way?

When you are turned down the first time, it could mean she's playing hard to get.. You can try again another time and if she says no, it most definitely means she isn't interested..
Why force? What if she later say yes to you out of pity? don't you think you will be making yourself look miserable??
I don't believe in spending so much energy in chasing something where there's an alternative to such thing... The only thing worth chasing with no alternative is the kingdom of God cheesy
Every nation, every man, every animal, is more concerned about their self interest. If you cannot trigger that "self interest" to tally with you/where you're going/ or your ultimate aim, you cannot win people over.

I never mentioned force.

It is called toasting.

Some people have flawed Impressions about others. It'll take the right words and enough time to finally get them to see the light.

You, as the one seeking to win them, have a lot of job to do. It is not begging. It is negotiation.

As for Eze or Olise. We need them. But we shouldn't be desperate or beg them. Especially Eze.

We should do our part, so that when the time comes, they'll not say we didn't reach out to them persistently.

Some of these people are the ones who marry the woman that was "AVAILABLE" and not the one they wanted for themselves. Why? They couldn't press on with the right words to trigger her emotions. The moment they are tuned down, they close door and walk away shamefully.

I'm sorry to say but you have a very narcissistic mindset and you need to stop it before it eats you up; especially if you have intentions of going into coaching full time.

Excellent knowledge of the round leather game but poor man management skills. Same thing destroyed Oliseh.

Whether you like it or not, Nigeria will always remain second choice to 99% of these foreign born players and the last thing you can do is to blame them.

What has Nigeria ever done for them? What has Nigeria ever done for their families? Is it not the same Nigeria their parents ran away from? Is it not the same Nigeria that is known for poor treatment of its players: both old and new?

What is so attractive about our football both on and off the pitch that they should feel so excited to commit to?

Why do you feel so entitled to their loyalty when you contributed absolutely nothing to their growth?

Or you want them to commit just because you are Nigeria and you feel you are worth it cheesy

We should even be ashamed to still call ourselves the Giants of Africa. We lost that attribute a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time ago.

I used to blame these foreign borns a lot but I sat down and had a rethink. I am against BEGGING them but you can't tell me that trying to convince them to weigh their options and choose us is a bad thing.
No emotions. No sentiments. Wisely stated.

Maybe it's the aftermath of the injury he suffered that kept him out for months..
Some players never regain their full form after recovering from a long term injury..
The Chukwueze I saw at the AFCON was an odd one.. he seemed scared to take on defenders and cut inside the opponent box.... Perhaps it was part of why his mother did that prayer for him...
You're right.

Forget all these talk. Chukwueze has been poor in the GWG. Why are the fans here not clamouring for ndidi's replacement? Or Osimhen's? Chukwueze was piss poor during the AFCON and before.. If there are better players out there that can do better than him, let them come and try. If they perform better, then he should sit his ass on the bench..
Chukwueze started like Osimhen, he was a beast and a menace to defenders in Spain. All of a sudden he's stagnated.

Well he scores every now and then but there's nothing spectacular there anymore like we witnessed when he lit the football world with fire.

Maybe it's the coach. Maybe it's the tactics and strategies... But he needs to step up and surpass his old self.
