When people commit traffic offence, you have power to fine them and even collect the money. if the person accept he is guilty. If the person believe he is not guilty he can go to court to defend his traffic offence. because you dont have a ticketing system.

there are many people who work for government who collect money on behalf of the government.

This is why I said remove the local government. so that the police can take over the secretariat and do their jobs. The people you have at the local government can not effort the law.

The issue is that nigeria newspaper and media are made up of illiterate who brain wash nigeria, that the police is collecting bribe. even lawyers in nigeria dont know the truth. they are judges who have sentence policemen to jail for stopping and fining traffic offence in nigeria. The summit on Yoruba language was held in Lagos today and prominent yoruba personalities were at attendance,among were the Ooni of Ife, His Royal Majesty Enitan Ogunwusi; the Alaafin of Oyo, His Royal Majesty Lamidi Adeyemi 111; the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu; the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona.Jide Kosoko and governors from the southwest geo-political zone.
