1. A client just bought a 2000kVA Gas generator to run his manufacturing plant. He presently uses a 1500kVA gas gen to run his existing facility.
2. Now, since the new Gas gen has not yet left for Nigeria, he is asking me to propose a solar system so he can consider cancelling the purchase and instead channel the funds towards a massive solar system.
3. Now, I have perfected the Solar array and battery bank design but I am having issues with finding an inverter brand that can do the job. I know finding a standalone 2000kVA inverter may be tough so I am open to cascading multiple units to attain the total kVA I seek.
So far, all the inverters I am seeing are Grid-Tie. Hence, since we all know the Grid is as good as non existent, they won't work unless I begin to explore doing AC Coupling with them.

I have checked out SMA but most stuff I see there are Grid-Tied. Please help will be appreciated.

Abeg my passport is still virgin and I wan use Dubai trip disvirgin am. I heard that traveling through Lagos for first timers is hectic due to too many questions and harrasment from immigration. I would have loved direct flight via Emirates or Qatar Airways make I no go loss for the connection destination
I'm now considering flying Ethiopian via Enugu.

Please any information that you think will help a first time traveller to Dubai (or anywhere in general) will really be appreciated like
- Travel requiements (vaccine card etc)
- cheap hotels in Dubai (1 week stay)
- ways to cut cost (we dey recession)

Anyone with updated prices for good quality solar panels? Especially 250W Mono and 300W Mono?

The most popular gel batts in naija are the 2v 500ah /800ah batt/cell.
they are sold for 20 to 30k used...and 38 to 50k brand new.

Are these recent prices? Abeg more info...

I read and began following this thread last year. At first I thought it was one of those motivational crap written by people who lack experience. But the more you wrote, the more it made sense. I started implementing a slightly modified version and this is my testimony.

@OP, it was hell at first. My wife didn't understand it. It nearly cost me my marriage as I insisted we drastically cut down and only make expenses from relevant accounts. All hell broke loose. I was reported to all and sundry as a stingy husband but I put my foot down.
Gradually, everyone around me began to adjust to the reality that once I say 'There is no money' then that is the end of it.

It gradually began to get better, less painful. As I write this, tears of joy are running down my face because you literally saved my life. I lost my job in January this year. My friends heard it, my relatives heard it. Everyone was waiting for me, expecting me to start going cap in hand. They waited and waited but I never did, my family never lacked, despite this very harsh economy. I survived.

I did not lose my dignity as a husband, father and first son.
Though I was unemployed, I had the stability to search without pressure and at the end of May, the Lord showed himself faithful by giving me a bigger, better job.

I wish I knew you in person, I would come and lay prostrate in appreciation to you. Everyone around me is shocked that I stayed so long without a job but still shining all through.
