honsule: I end up flashing my Rom again(After wasting precious time trying to fix/restore my boot animation).It did back up quite ok,but it doesn't restore anything.Am pissed offWhat's there in flashing your ROM again?? Every weekend, I flash 2 new ROMs on my phone and test them for like 6 or 8hours each. The app didn't work for you doesn't mean it doesn't work. Some apps work on some fones while it might not work on other phones. Anyways, it good for you  ......so that you will know that you have to be careful about installing apps that claim to do a million and one things. 1 Like |

talk2odim: Hi guys, I tried to update my HTC sensation xe and I guess something went wrong. I now tried to reboot the phone and all itz showing now is a white screen with HTC in the middle.Hmmm......you have soft bricked the phone. Remove the battery and re-insert it back. Hold the power button + volume down button together. A white screen with some fancy colour writings should pop up. Use the volume button to navigate to factory reset and use the power button to select it. Your phone should restore back to the factory default settings. After this, your phone should boot properly. You will loose all your data on the phone. 1 Like |

Go to settings and explore with options there. There is somewhere you can disable that. There is no fun in telling you everything that an Android phone can do.  This is not a problem. |

Deblow: I have rooted my Samsung galaxy note 2 and each time I wanted to check for new update online directly from the device it tells me I can't check for updates again because the device has been modified. pls wat alternative ways are open for me to check for upgrade without leaving the phone?You can't update a rooted device via OTA.....and even if you download the offline update and update your phone, you will simply remove your root. You definitely don't want that or do you?? If you had the stomach to root it, you should also have the stomach to experiment with some sweet and juicy custom ROMs. Go to XDA forum, in the Note 11 device sub-section and make your pick of any ROM you see there. Warning: make sure you read the posts so that it can give you an idea of which custom ROMs are stable. 1 Like |

Watching youtube using a BB plan/subscription on any network is not free. You will be charged for that from your account balance. |
