Lemme start preparing my sledge hammer.

hmmmm

MTN chop my credit..............................I don't mind. .....which network doesn't.
MTN charges 25k/sec to other networks...........I still don't mind.
MTN sends me unsolicited text messages..........I still don't mind.......which network doesn't.
MTN have network problems sometimes.............I still don't mind.......whch network doesn't.

MTN stops having loopholes in their network .........this one, I definitely do mind.

MTN & I started this thing together, we ain't going anywhere.

Watch all the MTN haterz(Mobile Thiefing Network group and the Manage The Network group) come out to counter this your vaild reasons and research.

Many MTN haterz can't admit that they are simply inlove with them.
I know MTN have numerous challenges but in the midst of these challenges, they still deliver services which are still @par with other networks' best efforts.

I love MTN with all the numerous freebies they have to offer which includes fBT too.
I no dey port my number go anywhere.

Now raise your glass(es) for MTN.

semid4lyfe: I don't see anything wrong with the thread. All it needs like my Oga at the top would say is "intelligent editing".

Oya nah.......I dey wait for the intelligent editing.

BlackBaron: Xbmc connected to tv.

Latest movies, on demand content et al.

Which kain oppression be dis now.

aze: Now to this-

if the network selling this phone was

1. MTN. No probs. Extortion is thier hallmark.

2. Airtel. Na to dey look them. After all the network is as worthless as a filty socks, in terms of data and voice.

3. Etisalat. No gbe ge. because l assume they thot we all have Oil Wells like them.

But it wasn't introduced into the market by the above three but a full blooded Nigerian owned network introduced

''A low specd smartphone powered by an ancient version of Google mobile OS''

Glo thought we have forgotten the BB 3gb fiasco. No instead of buying that FOOLISH Android Phone Glo, l will do these-

1. Buy the more advanced Infinix Race Bolt for 25k after adding 3k.

2. Buy 2 Tecno N3. 1 for me and the other my Broda.

OR
If l need a network branded Android smart phone l will go to any of the networks as follows-

1. Buy an Etisalat Gaga phone that has proper community support out there.

2. Walk into an MTN office and get the high specd Infinix Buzz X450 with Android 4.0 for 16k and stil keep 6k for mtn BIS downloads.

3. Sluggishly walk into an Airtel owned shop and get a Tecno N3 for 13k with 9k change in ma pocket. The Tecno has a better support and after sale service here in naija.

To hell with Glo.

Well said......._**clapping**

adewaleafolabi: Good day problem with my motorola atrix 4g. I was using it yesterday and when PHCN seized power i picked up my pc and accidentally dropped my phone. Nothing broke, until i discovered this morning that i now have dead zones on my phone. I did a factory reset and to no avail.
I can't use some keys on the keyboard due to the position on the screen also when in lanscape mode all the letters oin the first row becomes unusable. I read online about that a faulty digitizer i mostly the cause. Also i had noticed sometimes ago that the screen becomes jumpy but i'll just press the power button and it normalizes.

How much would it cost me to fix this problem?
Also how much would it cost me to upgrade to Jelly Beans as am running gingerbread.

Thanks

You already have an idea of the problem, take it a phone technician to look @it....but be wary that repairing/replacing digitizers don't come cheap ooh.

For your upgrade, I suggest you manually check for the update of your phone when you are on a 3G connection.

....and why are you interested in having a static IP address.

Do not post any email, mobile no., network tweak, cheat, hacks, codes etc in here.

There will be consequences.

luluosas: Me, manage my Glo? God forbids! I am rather ENJOYING my Glo. Hope it is clear to you.

kk.......ENJOY your GLO.

Osumare2013: Won't last if it's too pulic. Moreover, d mods will delete it as soon as he posts it for reasons best known to dem.

You can be sure of that.

This guy has enough money nah. Since you didn't know what to do with your airtime, MTN assisted you by automatically renewing your data subscription.

FYI: MTN joined other networks last month(I think) in that automatic data rollover(renewal) system, though they didn't do much advertising about it.

luluosas: Abeg, if you get any one now, give me please. Thank you in advance.

Get any wat? Abeg, Mr. GLO for life........manage ya GLO.

raynold: mine still working but each time mine goes off I put my phone in airplane mode for about 5 minute

ah ah.......see salient skills

Farouk senior: ..5MB??..sey wetin ? Say my dog wan checq im facEbook page abi wetin??...

People will soon be needing a small pamphlet for all the plethora of USSD codes that are released by the telcos to the public.
So when we are clamouring for a reduction in the price of data plans, this is the best they could come up with it.....Jeez.

But, what would 5MB do for me. Even my whatsapp uses more than 5MB daily.

Drdaps: 2ru keypad.it is sliding fone so der is keypad @ d other side

Let a phone technician have a look @the phone.

rastarman: am happy, i guess go launcher and themes is just the nO 1 forAndroid phones. if u dont have go launcher i beg download am enjoy a good looking themes for ur face. if u are fond of changing themes regularly. it makes u love the beauty of ur fone

.....that app that disturbs battery like hell....with all those unnecessary fanciful widgets.

No. Thank you.

opeyehmmy: Hi guyz, i'm having a Tecno D3 android phone with an unlock pattern problem requesting 4 my Gmail account which i know but the DATA is not switched ON which makes me unable to sign in to get rid of the unlock pattern. Pls Help me out with it. It displays- ' TOO MANY PATTERNS ATTEMPT' SIGN IN WITH UR GOGGLE ACCOUNT.
HELP PLS!!!

Huh.....now you have locked yourself out of ur phone. There might be a shortcut only if you installed some certain software.
Eg....did you by any chance install an anti-virus(netquin or avast or kapersky etc) or some phone tracking app e.g. androidlost......on the phone, if YES?....which one?

If you installed an antivirus and you created an account with them. Log into your antivirus account on a computer, "click" report the phone as stolen. That should trigger the antivirus to lock the phone as well as force the GPS, DATA, and WIFI to come ON and remain ON automatically on the phone.
You can now unlock the phone which the antivirus has put, then you can now log into your GMAIL account on the phone to release the lock pattern.

If the antivirus couldn't trigger the phone to lock itself after clicking on the "report phone as stolen" button, insert another SIM card into the phone so that the antivirus can lock the phone automatically too.

I sincerely do hope you have a account with an antivirus that can do all these.........if not......your going to have to use CMD prompt to factory reset the phone......if that will be possible sef.

iya egin: Hi GUys please advise as my sony ericcson touch screen phone is not responding what do i need to have done or how much would it cost me

The digitizer might be faulty, take it to a phone technician.

If the touch screen wasn't working, how were you operating the phone before it got locked?

More efficient internet structure: BB provides access to an unlimited internet data plan and at the least it provides more internet data at a lower cost than any other phone brand.BB pioneered this structure

You are still dreaming. Unlimited data for BB has been phased out from all naija networks. Lets see how you BB fans will cope now.

More efficient mail structure: BB provides the most robust and easy to use email structure, due to competiton bw google and yahoo, Yahoo mail is sometimes inefficient on andrioid phones. Also other phone brands require more settings for uncOmmon emails unlike BB. BB pioneered easy access to emails.

Common, you gotta be kidding me. Are you sure you have used an Android or an iPhone @all.
BBs email structure doesn't come close to ones on Android and iPhone.

Most dynamic chat system. BBM redefined chatting on phone and created the platform for whatsapp to enter. At a point people were so used to BBM dat it became a phenomenon, people cud literally be sleeping and chattin on BBM. BBM pioneered so much chat innovations like; no login required, sending of pix n voice, etc

I might agree with this, but there is just one problem. BBM is restricted to BBs, whatsapp is multi-platform.
It has made BBM a mere formality. Anything BBM can do, whatsapp does it better and it cuts across almost all phone platforms.

Now some of the inefficiencies of BB had been battery life and slow system processors. This has however been addressed with the Z10 and Q10.

This is the most correct statement you have spewed in here, however time will tell if truly the Z10 and Q10 have addressed the problems you mentioned.

Great......just when I was thinking that we have too many singing competitions in Naija, another one pops out.

The coding here is just too much.

Lemme consult Google Translator to decript all these encripted comments.

4llerbuntu: nobody don talk how I fit buy those android stick things.

OK what's my most reliable and easiest option to buy and ship it down?

I'm also interested.

@Leopantro.......come here and tell us the way forward o acquire those sticks.
