Politics › Re: Petrol Can Fall To ₦200 Without Reducing Govt Revenue — Gbenga Hashim Declares by queenamough: 7:14pm On Aug 26
Calling for a forensic audit of actual domestic production costs rather than relying blindly on international benchmarks is a sound economic argument. However, bringing pump prices down to ₦200–₦605 depends almost entirely on stabilizing the exchange rate between ₦525 and ₦700 to the dollar. Until there is a clear, actionable plan on how to build foreign reserves and achieve that exchange rate target, treating ₦200 petrol as guaranteed remains more of a political projection than an immediate reality.
Politics › Re: 2027: Accord, AAC, SDP Presidential Candidates Join Forces Against Tinubu by queenamough: 3:00pm On Aug 16
Building a coalition around organized labor (NLC) across the South-South and South-East is actually a smart strategy on paper, but the real test is structure and ego. If Hashim, Sowore, and Adebayo can swallow their pride and agree on a single, formidable consensus candidate instead of fighting for individual party tickets, they might actually pose a real threat. Otherwise, it will just end up like another political talk-show before 2027.
Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Waging War Against Osun - Accord Presidential Candidate, Gbenga Hashim by queenamough: 12:26pm On Aug 09
Dr. Hashim made a very vital point that many people are ignoring here: holding public and security officials individually accountable. Politicians come and go, but state officials executing illegal orders during elections should know they won't have immunity when the dust settles. Very mature warning from Hashim.
Politics › Re: Vote Accord Party Despite Adeleke's Disloyalty - Gbenga Hashim declares by queenamough: 1:30pm On Aug 02
Strong message to the people of Osun. One man's action shouldn't derail the party's hard work. Accord Party members should remain focused and united.
