Don't be too certain. At this stage of the game, the only housemates that can be confidently stated to have huge fan support are Khosi and Kanaga. It's a toss up among the rest. Blue and Yvonne aren't pushovers either.

And from what I can infer from the voting results since the shows began, whoever wins the show may finish with a weak margin above the runner-ups.

Exactly! There will be no gap between the winner and subsequent runner ups this year, unlike that of Laycon. The margins we have seen so far are too close.

Two reasons this is not possible:

1. There are many times we are shown sleeping housemates when there is obvious activity going on in the house. It has frustrated me since since BBSA days. We’ll assume it was one of those times.

2. Threaten the housemates with the chance of losing their stay in the game. They will stay tight lipped. We’ve seen tasks where they were told to not reveal their activity during said period. They kept mum till eviction.

They actually can and nobody will bate an eyelid. The act will be covered by many legal stipulations.

I have watched the show from the first edition in 2001 to this season. It was only during See Gobbe I realized the production crew held scenes to reveal at later times. Most of the sex scenes don’t happen live. They are broadcasted later at night when children are surely in bed. Many didn’t notice till the Shine Ya Eye season. It’s possible some still haven’t noticed.

If everything you've said here is true, then the entire concept of reality TV and Big Brother is a scam. Everything that will happen for the day, fights and drama, can already be planned without the viewers knowledge. Even the votes, if we can be scammed via video, what about votes that we can't see? No, don't do this. Don't take the reality of the show away from me. How will I enjoy the show with the mindset that everything could be planned? There is bias here and there from production, I know that. But the entire show?

Someone will notice. What about evicted housemates in the footage? Or if they are discussing the next day, and another housemate casually mentions that any of them were awake during the time we were shown the sleeping footage. Production can't do that.

The Blue, Ipeleng, Tsatsii and Khosi bit seems scripted to me. It won’t surprise me if the housemates stay awake a little longer on some nights for Big Brother to plan out certain dynamics they’ll play out in coming days. All production has to feed viewers is footage of them sleeping from a week or two before and we won’t notice. Reality TV doesn’t need acting skills. People will view regardless.

How do you even think this will be possible? Someone will surely notice.
