There are two basic types of concrete block making machine, depending on the
method of moulding the blocks:
• Stationary concrete block making machine that mould blocks, one or more at
a time, on pallets.
• “Egg-layer” concrete block making machine that mould blocks on a concrete
slab.


Some advantages and disadvantages of stationary and “egg-layer” concrete block making machine are given as below:

Stationary concrete block making machine

A relatively small space is needed for production. Block machine can be under cover. Pallets are necessary. For most systems, enough pallets for a day’s production are needed. Pallets are therefore an expensive item initially. They also involve ongoing expense as damaged (or stolen) pallets have to be replaced. (Some hand operated machines for making bricks need only a few pallets because bricks are removed from the pallet directly after moulding.)

“egg-layer” concrete block making machine
A fairly large slab is needed for production of blocks. The slab is expensive and increases the size of the site necessary for a blockyard.
Pallets are not necessary.

QT10-15 Automatic Block Making Machine:
1. QT10-15 brick machine (10 stands for the production quantity is 10 blocks "400×200×200mm" per mould, 15 stands for the cycle time is 15 seconds) has the production output of 14400-19200 blocks (400×200×200mm) or 200-272 cubic meters for one day (8 working hours).
2. QT10-15 can produce various types of hollow blocks, solid bricks, interlocks, pavers, and curbstones, etc.

Main Features of QT10-15 Automatic Block Making Machine:
1. Uses Germany Siemens PLC control system and Siemens Touch Screen.
2. Uses high-dynamic proportional and directional valves, which automatically adjust the oil flow and pressure as per specific working requirements, to buffer the hydraulic cylinder when working; uses integrated high-pressure and soft oil pipes, with easy installation;
3. Uses multi-shaft rotating and compulsory feeding, which greatly improves the density and intensity of the blocks, and reduces the feeding time as well;

QT18-20 Block Making Machine:
The QT18-20 block machine is the largest capacity machine in the world. You can make different designs of concrete blocks, bricks, paving stone and curbstone by changing moulds only. The block making machine QT18-20(18 stands for the production quantity of 18 blocks "400x200x200mm" per mold, 20 stands for the cycle time of 20 seconds) has the production output of 25,920 blocks (400x200x200mm) or 360 cubic meters for one day (8 working hours). As the molds are changeable, the block making machine is able to produce different types of blocks/bricks.
