Commenting on the brand’s CSR campaign, Oke Umurhohwo, itel’s Marketing Communications Manager said:
“I am very proud to be a part of a brand who is giving back to the communities where we live and work. We know that this period is a tough one for many families because of the lockdown, and as such, we are happy that our CSR activities are able to give families a measure of relief. It's also worth noting that our CSR initiative themed: Love Always On will continue to impact lives, even after this pandemic has been thoroughly defeated.”

The joy on the faces of members of the community was a common theme throughout the hours long outreach. More than 20 volunteers gave up hours of their time to enrich the lives of Nigerians and this is something worth applauding.

COVID-19: itel Mobile Partners With Lagos Food Bank To Give Back To Ipaja Community
In Nigeria, one out of every three people lives below the poverty line. And with the coronavirus pandemic wreaking havoc on the global economy, employed persons are slipping into the brackets of the unemployed, and the struggles of people in underserved communities with little or nothing to feed on have been compounded due to the government sanctioned lockdowns in COVID-19 hotspots.

However, heeding to the call to provide relief for affected communities around Nigeria are itel Mobile and Lagos Food Bank, an NGO based in Lagos, Nigeria. United by the aim of reducing hardship worsened by the coronavirus, the smartphone for everyone brand, through its Love Always On CSR Initiative, and the NGO, reached the residents of Ipaja, Ayobo, and adjoining communities in Lagos state at a time when they needed it the most. Raw food and relief items were provided to the semi-urban community’s households as part of their relief efforts, and at the forefront of these efforts are a deep concern and care for their communities.

According to Marketing Communications Manager (West Africa), itel Mobile, Oke Umurhohwo, the outreach is “a deliberate, impact-driven initiative that gives back to the vulnerable in a manner that shows that they are loved by others. It’s the brand’s way of helping families and children survive the tough times created by the pandemic.”
And in the words of Michael Sunbola, the President of the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, “This partnership comes from a place of impact. The Lagos Food Bank Initiative is indeed delighted to be on this laudable move initiated by itel Mobile to bring smiles to people’s faces at this critical time. It is not in doubt that the country needs more support from individuals and corporate organizations at this time, and itel Mobile has created an enabling template with this act of kindness.”

itel Mobile Donates Food And Relief Items To Lagos Households
With income streams running dry, unemployment and living standards are taking a deep dive. Nevertheless, there is a pressing need to assist affected persons and families who have lots of children as a little given willingly is much appreciated in these times.
In partnership with the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, itel Mobile, Africa’s most customer-centric brand and providers of affordable smartphone for everyone, has donated food and relief items to the Ipaja community and its environs in mainland Lagos, Nigeria. The gesture draws everyone, particularly the affluent, to the vital need to assist households hit by coronavirus-induced hard times.

The relief initiative is the smartphone for everyone brand’s modest contribution to taking care of the semi-urban community’s residents. PhonesRe: Why Every Sensible Nigerian Should Avoid Tecno, Infinix And Itel Brands by Queenpresh611: 4:26pm On May 23, 2018
HeyCorleone:
The reason why Itel even has customers is because a good majority of Nigerians are inherently stupid. They voted in an illiterate as their President. Why won't they buy Itel?.

Itel can't exist in South Africa. That country has good taste. You can't take a phone with products that degrade in months to SA. They won't approve it.

Nigerians are a fan of mediocrity, that's why Itel is having little sales.
I hope you are included too

HeyCorleone:
every morning when you wake up pray to God to bless you. When you are blessed you won't remember there's any disease called Itel.

Obviously you would rather ride a bicycle than drive a Venza or Benz or a Ferrari, after all is it not ordinary transportation? You can still get anywhere with your bicycle.
Wow great, but pray for him too

Lol. I am a student. I have many friends. None of us uses an Itel device. The ones who did have learnt their bitter lessons.

Itel is for very dull persons. People who are near insane.
Wow never knew you are intelligent
Well I can't even see the sign of intellectual skills In u at all

HeyCorleone:
Tecno is a student phone.

Infinix is a student phone.

Samsung has phones with prices that are student friendly.

The Nokia I'm using I got it for 32k.

Do not limit yourself to mediocrity simply because you're not a millionaire.

I would say it again, every reasonable person should stay away from Itel.

You claim to be a student yet you know nothing. P
Lol see you
Please teach me I want to learn guess you are the millionaire here right
Buy Samsung for me na
