Personal acct to be on safe side. We have seen ppl visa rejected cos VO wasn't satisfied the money in the acct will be readily available for studies as they cudnt differentiate the money used to run the business from money meant for the studies
What about a personal account being used for business. Is there any negatives?

Is it advisable to travel with spouse/dependents first time? Or travel without and they can join subsequently.

Who is the sponsor to you and how did you prove your relationship with him.
Also was the sponsor acct a business acct?
The issue will also likely be from your SOP
I'm interested in answers too for knowledge sake.

Should the sponsor's account be personal or business??

designated learning institution
To apply for a study permit, you need an acceptance letter from a designated learning institution (DLI). A DLI is a school approved by a provincial or territorial government to host international students.

CC- Google
Thanks, I know now.

How will I know if my program of choice is eligible for PGWP?

hii Queenslee, I'm new too, I'm also applying. Ve u chosen a sch yet?
Yes I have identified a few schools. Colleges to be precise.

I guess that's the first step. Choosing a program of study, a program pathway (Postgraduate Diploma) and focusing on an entry window (Winter 2024)

You can get DLI schools from the IRCC website. You can check it out.
Also, use google to get some of the information you need.
You didn't tell me what DLi is

Any Postgraduate Diploma suggestion for an HND public administration graduate?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Queenslee(f): 4:42pm On May 24, 2023
Bobomaigida:
That is a start,

Now that you have decided to pursue PGD, you have to ask yourself which province and school (Majority of the schools that offer PGD are colleges).
Then which course are you looking to do? The course will have to related to your present work if you have been working or related to your first degree if your educational gap is not long.
I have an HND in public administration

I'm looking at PGD in Social work or Transport Administration

I'm looking at Ontario or Calgary.

How do I know which school or college supports PGWP and what's DLI?

There are some steps you need to take yourself, then if you have issues you can put the questions here.

Applying for admissions is more or less personal cos you are the one that knows the kind of course you want to study, the budget you have for tuition, the province you want to go to etc

So start.
Thanks sir.

I Have started my search already. I'm looking at post graduate Diploma in Ontario for January 2024 entry.

What category of school do you suggest? University or college?

Hi

I've been following the thread for many years now and I'm ready to get started.

Anyone applying for admissions at this time? I would like us to share ideas regularly during the course of applying to schools.
