I mean, when the Russians were the FIRST in space, nobody challenged it. People acknowledged the feat and congratulated Gagarin and others. But when the Americans went to the moon between 1969 and 1972 (not once, but several times) and planted their flag there, the Russians made up elaborate conspiracy theories and spread them around the world to discredit it and make people think it never happened. So Tuskegee is not proof that modern medicine is a conspiracy. It is the reason modern medical trials today are heavily regulated. That is why we have US FDA, do you also know that there was a new drug in the 1950s that made children tobbe born without limbs. This contributed to string guidelines on clinical trials.

So bringing up Tuskegee actually proves why systems like National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control and global ethics boards exist today.
