It is boldly written in banks (some eg Stanbic), don't give your cash deposit to any other person in the bank even the bank staff.. Only the teller has the right to receive cash from a customer. If he's not at his desk (teller table) the customer shouldn't hand over the cash.

The bank is not liable.

Thank God no life was lost. That's the most important thing.

Can't say if they are seriously injured. There were casualties. The bus I boarded got there some few minutes (less than 5) after the tanker exploded.

At least, a bus was stopped to pick some of the victims who were alive, but sustained injuries, while there were 2 people laid on the roadside burnt (but not enough for mere seeing to verify their deaths)
