Introduction
Toilet rolls as it is commonly called locally, is a soft toilet paper used in millions of homes, schools, hospitals, offices, restaurants, hotels and in event centres. Some of the bulk end users like hotels, restaurants and schools sometimes demand toilet roll producers to brand their names on the toilet papers being distributed to them for uniqueness and publicity; this on its own creates an additional business opportunity for toilet roll paper producers to make money in the area of product and corporate branding.
In 2004, the Federal Government of Nigeria placed a ban on the importation of finished toilet rolls, serviettes, and face tissues in order to encourage the local production of the product and create the much needed employment.
The toilet paper manufacturing business has been reported as being one of the fastest growing manufacturing industries in Africa today. Toilet paper is a soft tissue paper used in homes, offices, schools, hotels etc. to maintain personal hygiene after human laxative or other organic processes.However, it can also be used for other purposes such as absorbing spillage and decorative purposes. the product differs in texture from other tissue, and is formulated to decompose in septic tanks, whereas some other bathroom and facial tissues do not.

About 800 million units of the product are required annually by Nigerians out of which local production can only meet about 105 million units. this wide margin in supply provides investment opportunity for savvy investors like you and I to exploit.

Nevertheless, one could also make money recycling waste paper into jumbo reels used as raw material for the production of toilet rolls.

The Toilet Roll production plant are a stationary one to be sourced locally with just 3 raw materials.
1) Core making Paper
2) Tissue Jumbo Reel,
3) Cassava starch for gluing the core tube and also for sealing the tissue tips.
The complete Unit or set of machines are made up of 4 different machines with different functions.
1. The Core making machine:- This is the machine that produce the inner thick brown or white paper which the tissue papers are rolled on, from cardboard papers to core tube, this machine can be optional since there are other manual and cheaper ways of producing a handmade core with PVC pipes, but if you insist on getting this machine, it is fabricated at 200,000, (Two Hundred Thousand Naira)
