APC Releases Time-Table For 2016 Ondo State Governorship Primary Election

· Fixes Primary Election For August 27


The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the time-table and schedule of activities for the conduct of the Party’s 2016 Governorship Primary Election in Ondo State.

The Party’s National Organising Secretary, Senator Osita Izunaso made the announcement in a statement issued on Sunday.

Izunaso said the announcement was in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended), the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) guidelines and Party guidelines.

According to the time-table and schedule of activities, sale of forms will commence at the Party’s National Secretariat from Tuesday 19th July to Friday 5thAugust, 2016. Governorship nomination forms will be sold at N5 million while intending aspirants are expected to pay N500, 000 to pick expression of interest form. The forms are free for female aspirants.

Last day for submission of completed forms is Monday 8th August, 2016 at the APC National Secretariat.

Screening of aspirants will be conducted in Abuja from Tuesday 9th to Friday 12th August, 2016.

The Primary Election will hold Saturday 27th August, 2016.

Election Appeal will hold from Monday 29th August to Thursday 1st September, 2016.

sojiboy: The Federal Government initially postponed the resumption date of primary and secondary schools to October 13 due to the Ebola virus disease.

However, the date has been shifted forward to September 22 following a review ordered by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).

The FEC, recently ordered the Minister of Education, Mr. Ibrahim Shekarau, to review the directive given to schools over their resumption, following the outbreak of Ebola Virus Disease in Nigeria.




With this development there is every possibility that we are camped come November 5,i will resume as an Otondoh in Sagamu camp.

Miraculously Mr Ho, 50, survived his dramatic injury and, following successful emergency surgery at a nearby hospital, is now expected to make a full recovery.

oh my God! Can't belief he survive after dis injury? God is wonderful and miraculous......... Normally he should av died almost immediately. Just last week a 2years old boy fell down from a 2 story-building in my area hitting the flour with his head, and funny enough he did nt sustain any injury and he was discharge after just 5 hrs in the hospital, the doctors said after series of scans and test he didn't sustain any injury internally and he his free to go home.
