Edo state chapter of the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN), held a closed door meeting with the NNPP governorship candidate at the party's secretariat.

Briefing News men after the meeting, Some members of the executive arm, described Dr.Azemhe Azena, as their son, a pastor and a known figure in the christian community in Edo state and in diaspora. Thus they decided to invite him due to the fast growing strength of the NNPP in Edo state, under his leadership. Which is also an indication of Commitments and dedication towards Edo People, thus placing them among the Top 4 Contenders for the seat of governor in Edo state.

On his remark, the NNPP governorship candidate, Thanked the Executives of CAN in Edo state, led by the State Chairman, Apostle Gen. Dr. Irkpono Omoike for inviting him, and also recognizing his fast growing organic followers in the build up to the Election, in Edo State.

The NNPP governorship candidate, reaffirms his commitment towards solving the Security challenges, revitalizing the Health sector, and providing free and uninterrupted Primary and secondary Education to the people. He also assured them of running an inclusive government irrespective of religious and tribal affiliation, when he becomes governor

The NNPP governorship candidate, Dr. Azemhe Azena, was accompanied by his Deputy, Hon. Edith Ihueghian Isokpan. He assured them of elevating the poor in the Society, by giving them employment and scholarships. The CAN Executives encouraged Dr. Azemhe Azena, not to relent on his vision and push for a Better Edo state, at the end of the meeting, prayers were made for the Governorship and his Deputy, by CAN Executives
