Here are my car problem:
1. v6 Honda accord baby boi 2001 is consuming abnormally my fuel and its giving me concern. Pls what should I do cause my Mech has check it, and said he has corrected it but yet still persist.
2. The car will not start once but twice. If I want it start once, I will have to delay it for like 3 secs. What is the problem
3. Whenever am moving, the car will not change gear smoothly. It will look as if its sluggish or pulling back. I use Mobil atf
4. My dashboard and packing lights are not on. I ve try to adjust the dashboard light but it won't on.

Honda guru's in the house pls tell me what I should tell my Mr Kazeem and Mr Rewire to do. Thank u.

1. Make sure 'a kaseem' has not removed the bulb for your check engine light.
b. If it's intact and no cel light, your fuel pressure is going down due to leak in your full system. That's why you have to turn your key 3 times to build back the pressure before it can start.
There's a return valve in your fuel pump compartment, it can allow fuel escape back to the fuel tank, thereby reducing fuel pressure. Check it.
Check around you fuel rail, and supply hose for slight leaks.
Or better still use a meter and check your fuel pressure, to tell if your pump is ok.

2. That's the reason you are having a bad fuel mileage. If still, no cel.

3. Don't try to use any other atf than honda dw-1, it will give you peace of mind.
b. If no CEL clean the screen filters in
* A/T clutch pressure control solenoid
* shift control solenoid A and B
* lockup control solenoid valve
* second clutch pressure switch
c. I will advice to flush your atf and replace with dw-1

4. You are suppose to get a CEL with all this malfunction, if you are not seeing light on your dash, like I said, make the haven't tampered with your dash bulbs. Iv seen those quacks done it before, so you won't have to be disturbing them about the cause of the light. They feel since the car runs and drive CEL is not needed.

Bro @mosbos, I just want to thank you for a job well done. My Accord A.C is now cooling like I'm sitting down in a 'cold room' nak3d. I never thought an AC technician will have an actual infrared thermometer, when compared to 'a kaseem' "feel and tell" (e don dey cool, oya come touch am). I was very impressed, keep up the good work bro.

I need an ac technician with a vacuum pump to help flush my ac system and recharge it. If you know any one in Lagos, please share with us.
I'm sure there are other nairalander's looking for such services too.

Please o, my honda accord transmission just start kicking when shifting from park to drive. it does this only when its cold. Sometimes it hesitates when shifting between gears. Last transmission fluid change was honda dw-1 about 10 months ago. What next should i do. Thanks in advance.

Toyota will go for reliability, rather than aesthetics any time. While Honda likes newest gadgets/technology, Toyota likes 'tested and trusted'. They will wait for a year or more for the teething period to pass. Meanwhile do you you consider cost of ownership? If that camera side mirror is broken, it will come with considerable financial setback. For me, the handleless door is a minus.

'the' car will get you to anywhere. whether 2000 model or 2019. If i am buying a modern car, im buying it for the techs it packs. Why will i wait 3-4 years when its outdated, or under-valued. Toyotas are known for backwardness in tech right from time. Honda pushed in remote trunk open and rear disc brakes from 1998 accord, till 2003 camry still dosent have disc brakes and remote trunk.... or they are testing them if it will last forever?..lol
Cost of maintenance is not an option. If it breaks i fix it. Of course it will be expensive whether it has camera or not.

During acceleration there's always a boooooooom kind of sound from the engine, it happens to my accord and i hear it from other cars as well wen they accelerate past me. It sounds like a hollow in the engine. Its definitely not exhaust leak sound and i don't think its an intake sound (sucking sound). I know its not normal, people tend to neglect it. What likely can be the cause of this?

I'm eyeing that 2006 white cayenne turbo, had smetin else in comparison but is it more than 6m? Yes or No. B4 I can contact you

1. Put a desired amount of oat in a ceramic or plastic bowl
2. Add water and stir ( I suggest adding lots of water like 30% oat 70% water)
3. Drop or sprinkle sugar as you wish and stir again (You can add salt, very little salt....trust me its nice)
4. Place in a microwave for 1min, bring it out, stir again and return to the microwave for another 1min (This duration is applicable to a "soup bowl" not too big, if you preparing more you can increase the time to 2 or 3mins intervals.
5. Repeat No.4 for another 1min. (Total time should be 3mins with good MW)
6. Add Milk and you are good.


Don't leave it straight 3mins in the MW if you want to enjoy it with milk and control the thickness.
