*THE CHURCH & HATE PREACHING.* *BY Mfon Offiong* I keep appealing to my Christian brothers and friends who send me inciting articles & messages which are "false and fake" via WhatsApp to beware, reminding them of Rwanda & the fate of Christianity there after the 1994 genocide. Rwanda is 96% Christian. Half of that Catholic. However, the pulpit was used as a platform by Christian Hutus to spread ethnic hate against Christian Tutsis. "The devil knew that the hate has ripened", no thanks to the activities of clerics so he brought down their President's helicopter. When the Hutu President & some of his Ministers died in the helicopter crash in 1994, it set off the genocide. 800,000 people, 95% of the Christians were massacred in 100days. That's a Christian Country. So we shouldn't assume that because we are Christians, that we can keep sowing hate & not reap its fruit. Hate is a precursor to murder. Hate has no place in Christianity. After that, what happened in Rwanda? Paul Kagame took over. He is Tutsi. He has been ruling Rwanda since 1994 & has removed term limits. What happened to the dream of enthroning a government dominated by Hutus which led to the hate speech in Churches by Christians against Christians that resulted in the genocide? Rwanda is now Ruled by a minority Tutsi. Again, the Church in Rwanda no longer has the freedom it had in Rwanda before the genocide. In March this year, a move by Rwanda to shut down more than 714 Churches in its Capital City, allegedly for building safety, hygiene & noise violations, is prompting accusations that the government of President Paul is trampling on Religious freedom. On Tuesday (March 6), Police detained six Pastors, accusing them of conspiring to rally other clergies in defiance of the government’s shutdown orders. What do Christians and the preachers that urge them on want by spreading Religious & ethnic hate by sharing lies like the Police recruitment was done in Arabic, that NUC directed that Arabic should be one of the general studies courses in all Nigerian Universities. Permit me to paint this grim picture. The helicopter that took VP Osinbajo to a function in Gwagwalada, Abuja was reported to have malfunctioned. It was said to have taken off & could not go above the height of a tree & landed. Assuming he has entered it & God forbid, it got bad mid-air & crashed, these same set of so-called Christians and their Pastors who don't see anything good in PYO will claim Islamic religious conspiracy. I hope they have the army to fight the religious war whose drums they keep beating week in, week out. How will you hold a normal Church Service during a war? The clerics who were preaching ethnic hate and conspiracy theories in Rwanda didn't see the genocide coming. They didn't believe such a thing could ever happen. Keep cooking for the devil by spreading lies and hate from your pulpits and Churches in the belief that nothing will happen. This needs to be read by everybody preaching hate through religion especially Christians... Imagine someone posting dat d match btwn Russia and Saudi Arabia is a clear depiction of the war between Islam and Christianity... If God forbid war breaks put in Nigeria or Something relating to that of Rwanda happens in Nigeria Christianity in Nigeria will never recover from the blow it will receive. As such, there is no Imam or Sheikh dat preaches hate against Christianity but if you attend a Church function today even if its FCS in Schools you will sense the hate in their sermons even if you listen to it for just 15 mins!!! *We need to change our ways.* |

Chinese smartphones have gotten a bad reputation for years. But today “Made in China” no longer inherently means cheap, inferior or bad. Over the last few years, respectable Chinese brands have emerged, and some have not only caught up with their more established rivals but have actually started to surpass them in China and beyond. The main selling point of Chinese phones? They tend to be a lot cheaper than phones sold on the Western market (import costs included), but often have the equally good build quality and features. There are some great Chinese phones which are officially available for purchase in the US, and for this article, we’ve rounded up a number of Chinese phones which are available to buy in the US right now. *Huawei P20 and P20 Pro* The Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro may not be coming to the United States, but the rest of the world is in for a treat very soon. These are, without a doubt, the best Huawei phones the company has produced so far, and the best Chinese Android phones ever made. The Huawei P20 sports a 5.8-inch LCD display, while the Pro version boosts it up to 6.1 inches and a OLED panel. Yes, both phones have notches on top, but if you hate this current phone trend, the handsets do allow you to turn it off in the setting menu so it looks more like a regular phone. The Huawei P20 has a Leica dual camera setup, with a 12MP RGB and 20MP monochrome sensor combo, but the P20 Pro is the first smartphone with a triple rear camera setup . In addition to the 20MP monochrome sensor, the RGB sensor on the Pro goes up to a whopping 40MP, and is joined by the third sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens. The Pro also has a five-times hybrid zoom feature. Both phones have Huawei’s Kirin 970 processor, with its NPU chip that adds AI features, including ones that help improve taking pictures with their impressive cameras. These phones are not cheap, however. The Huawei P20 will be sold in Europe very soon for 650 euro (around $800), while the more powerful Huawei P20 Pro will cost 900 euro (around $1100). There’s also the Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS variant of the P20 Pro that includes a in-screen fingerprint sensor, a 6-inch screen, and you can get one with a massive 512GB amount of onboard storage for 2095 euro ($2600). That’s the price that must be paid for the best Huawei phones ever released. *One plus 5's* The first thing you’ll notice with the 5T is its bit 6.01-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. This makes the device look more in line with other 2017 devices, especially because its predecessor came with a more traditional 16:9 screen. The under-the-hood specs are mostly the same as the OnePlus 5’s, but OnePlus decided to switch up the camera setup this time around. Now, in place of the OnePlus 5’s telephoto lens, the 5T sports a secondary 20 MP sensor that uses a fancy new technology called Intelligent Pixel Technology. Basically, it takes better low-light photos than before. Some of the spec are: 6.01-inch AMOLED display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution . Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile platform . 6/8 GB of RAM . 64/128 GB of on-board storage, no microSD expansion . Dual 16 and 20 MP rear cameras, 16 MP front camera *Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design* Unveiled last year, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Porsche Design are a reputable duo. Packing a powerful Kirin 970 processor, the phones offer up to 6GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. They also take advantage of a rear-facing 12-megapixel+20-megapixel dual Leica camera setup, as well as a large 4,000 mAh battery. The two flagships take advantage of a 6.0-inch AMOLED display with 2160 x 1080 resolution, really thin bezels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Porsche Design model is the higher-end coming with a handcrafted exterior. It’s exclusively available in Diamond Black. While the Mate 10 Pro is sold in Titanium Gray and Midnight Blue. Customers in the US can grab the international versions of the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro from third-party retailers in the country like Amazon. Although we recently heard that Best Buy will stop selling Huawei phones altogether. Even so, for the time being, you can still pick up the Mate 10 Pro from the retailer. *Xiaomi Mi Mix 2* Xiaomi doesn’t have an official presence in the US, but you can still pick up phones like the Mi Mix 2 from third-party retailers. The Mi Mix 2 is part of the so-called tri-bezeless trend and comes with a spacious 5.99-inch display with 2,160 x 1080 resolution. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz in combination with 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Unlike most flagships these days, the Mi Mix 2 boasts a 12-megapixel camera with Phase Detection Autofocus on the back. When it comes to selfies, the phone has a 5-megapixel selfie snapper for this purpose. It’s also worth mentioning, Xiaomi recently unveiled Mi Mix 2s. This is an upgraded version of the Mi Mix 2 with a Snapdragon 845 and up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone also enjoys the services of a dual camera on the back and runs Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The phone is yet to become widely available. *Honor View 10* Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, also has a great flagship alternative to offer. The View 10 is marketed as “your first A.I. phone”. This is due to the Kirin 970 processor which also includes a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU) which helps with all AI-related tasks. The front of the phone is pretty impressive too. Honor managed to get a 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio on the device and also keep the physical home button underneath the display. It also doubles as a fingerprint scanner. Other specs include 6GB of Ram, 64GB of storage and a dual-camera setup on the back (16-megapixel+20-megapixel). The phone relies on a 3,750 mAh battery. *Honor 9* Another Honor phone makes the list. This time, it’s the Honor 9, the successor of the acclaimed Honor 8. If you’re not a fan of the whole bezel-less trend, you might want to consider the Honor 9 with its 5.15-inch display with FHD resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. The handset includes a Kirin 960 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It also boasts a dual 20-megapixel+12-megapixel camera with phase detection autofocus and 2x optical zoom on the back. The phone is upgradable to Android Oreo and relies upon a 3,200 mAh battery. *Obviously the OnePlus 5T should have made it to this list, but the phone is currently sold out in the US. Because according to recent rumors, the OnePlus 6 might make a debut as soon as next month.* *Honor 7X* Don’t have $499 to spend on the Honor View 10? No problem. Honor has a great alternative for you in the form of the Honor 7X. Coming with a 5.93-inch display with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution, the Honor 7X is one of the most affordable bezel-less phones. It ships out with a Kirin 659 processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. For just $199, the phone also offers the services of a dual 16-megapixel+2-megapixel rear-facing camera. As for selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel selfie snapper to assist you with self-portraits. Despite launching with Android 7.0 Nougat on board, the Honor 7X will get Oreo soon. What’s more, the device gained a Face Unlock feature with a recent update. *Xiaomi Mi A1* Part of Google’s Android One initiative, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a great value phone. But unlike, the Honor 7X it does not come with an 18:9 aspect ratio display, opting for a standard 16:9 aspect ratio. The handset features a 5.5-inch screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution and bundles a Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood. It’s offered with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It also takes advantage of a 12-megapixel+12-megapixel dual camera setup with phase detection autofocus and 2x optical zoom. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Upgradable to Android Oreo, the Xiaomi Mi A1 is a perfect phone for customers on the budget. *ZTE Tempo Go* The ZTE Tempo Go is part of Google’s second program Android Go. Android Go is a version of Android Oreo which is optimized for smartphones running on low hardware. Specs are quite low-end with this model. For $80, you’ll get a phone with a 5-inch display with 480 x 584 resolution, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Fortunately, ZTE has included a microSD card slot for memory expansion. The first Android Go phone to go on sale in the US also has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,200 mAh battery. Unfortunately, the phone is currently sold on ZTE’s website, but stocks might be refilled soon enough. So keep an eye out. ‘Prepayment’ basically means ‘pay-as-you-go’ Prepayment means that you pay for your gas and electricity before you use it. Prepayment meters can cover your gas, electricity or both. People with prepayment accounts receive a key or card through the post. These keys or cards can be topped up with credit, just like mobile phone pay as you go. Once there’s credit on your key or card, you just slot it into your meter and you will immediately receive energy. Advantages of prepayment meters You’re in control of how much and how often you top up. You don’t have to worry about building up debt as you purchase your energy before you use it making you more aware of your running energy costs. You always have an idea of what your remaining balance is as it’s displayed clearly on the meter screen which helps you avoid nasty surprises. You don’t receive and bills, you pay in advance. Prepayment meters will have an ‘ Emergency Credit ’ facility which offers a set amount of extra credit in case you run out of your pre-paid credit, giving you time to top-up your meter before you would lose supply. Prepayment electricity meters meter have a ‘Friendly Credit’ or ‘no-disconnect’ mode that operates at certain hours of the day and/or night. In these hours, considered to be the most inconvenient times to be without energy, you will not lose supply even if Emergency Credit has not been activated or it has run out. You can use your prepayment meter to repay any outstanding money you owe us. Your payments are spread over a time period that suits you, in agreed amounts that you can afford, interest-free. Disadvantages of Prepayment meters Prepayment meters are more expensive to operate than other types of meter which means you might not be able to access the cheapest tariffs available Topping up at a local newsagent, petrol station or supermarket is inconvenient (especially when it’s cold) If your prepayment meter has run out of credit and your supply is off, to restore your supply you will need to access your meters directly which may be positioned out of easy reach. Your supply will turn off if your prepayment meter runs out of credit outside of ‘Friendly Credit’ hours, and your ‘Emergency Credit’ has been used or has not been activated. It may not be possible to restore your supply until your meter is topped-up again and is in positive credit. If your prepayment meter has run out of credit and your supply is off, you may need to repay any ‘Emergency Credit’, ‘Friendly Credit’ or any outstanding amount owed, before your supply will come back on. You may also need to account for any debt repayment plan that has been agreed. This could mean you need to top-up a bit more than you usually would so please be aware this may affect your budgeting. Your energy usage will almost certainly increase during winter months; meaning your weekly top-ups would also have to increase. When you ‘pay-as-you-go’ this may be even more noticeable and have greater impact on your daily and weekly budgeting. It may help to spread out your payments evenly over the year to build up credit during the summer months, ready for the winter. If you leave home for several days, you must remember to charge your key or card, and to credit your meter. This is because your credit is used to pay for your daily standing charge (on selected tariffs) and any debt repayments – so if you don’t charge your meter enough before going away, appliances that you may want to have on all the time (for example, freezers) may switch off. In conclusion to the things that has been said, most Nigerians wants PPM due to meter bypass. The rate at which energy theft is going on presently in our society is alarming and spreading very fast like malaria. The epidemic is much, so I think the discos don't wanna give ppm out. 90% of houses using PPM turn to FREE TO AIR at night ..... Consuming without paying, which will lead to other customers on direct paying more for energy use by does PPM free to air users at night. The discos are not fair to us, likewise the customers are not entirely fair to them. |

My wife and I were having a serious quarrel when I said to her..."pack your things and!!! ....."At that point, her phone rang, so I had to stop to allow her answer the caller. It was her dad. The phone was on speaker so I could hear what he was saying. After the usual pleasantries between father and daughter, he said:"my daughter, I have transferred #6,000,000 into your account, give your husband N4,000,000 out of it, and you can have the remaining balance." Am sending a LANDCRUISER tear rubber jeep to you and your husband for family use. After the good-byes, the call ended, and she turned to me immediately "you said I should pack my things and do what........ ?""I SAID, PACK YOUR THINGS AND GIVE THEM TO ME TO WASH.". I will iron them when light comes. Please don't smile alone, put smile on someone' sface that's what am doing . |

NDelta:Ur very funny.... Why will the other tribes oppose a common state for them..lol. Don't u kn the geographical location of ijaw land in the south, or do u want a state with 95% water as the landmass. For ur information, ijaws has a state in the south ( baysal.. 97%).
