rakish: Am really sorry or let me say i regret posting my personal problem on this public thread. @poffi and many others who think so,i apologise. I was just in nid of sum1 i culd share my problem with and be encouraged. There is this soothing feeling wen sum1 understands and give u kind words of encouragement,and the show of love wen ur down. If u read my post,u wil notice i didn't omit the word "uniabuja" in it,dats cause i fil we are almost all in the admissn stuff dilema and didn't want to divert attention to myself coz we all have problems. Again,i apologise for the incovenience and divertion but am totally greatful to those who send their condolences despite the inconvenice i might hav caused them and possibly diverting the primary purpose for this thread. I have learned my lesson.

to those still sympatising,thank u and am sorry. Lets go back to the thread pls,GOD bless u all.

poffistands: abi...the thread just turn to one kind obituary group.@rakish...we av all been a victim of the debilitating effect of death,especially death of a loved one.but it has absolutely nothing to do here on dis thread,lets not deviate from the purpose of the thread,its not a group chat.do u av the slightest idea how many of us here have lost our relatives since last year nd waiting for admission.am a very radical person,gotta be honest to u man,lets maintain order here.this is more or less the school website and opinion poll,u can't visit oau's portal or u.i and announce the death of an uncle and everyone gives their eulogy.death is a respecter of no man,it keeps no time,no day,no calendar,it comes knocking unexpectedly on our doors,it smiles at everyone,all we can but do is smile back.people never really die cus they live on in memories,now put a smile on ur face charlie,for your uncle just yawned now in his grave,i can assure u he is not dead but sleeping in the Lords bosom.

Pietee: Private Hostel. Well with God all things are possible... But even in Abaji, Kwali, Sheda or Permanent site I really doubt if you will get a private hostel for #5,000

Is there a private hostel in uniabuja? Lets say 1,2 highest 3persons in a room? And hw much does it cost?

Pietee: Mrpresido3, please be informed that the list uploaded on jamb list went through the senate of the Uniabuja, and its not a jamb list, but rather uploaded on Jamb site first. You can fix (runz) admission from jamb but jamb does not compile admission list for the school or any other school. Its only an erroneous belief that Uniabuja's merit list is Jamb List. If you want to contend otherwise look at other schools and see if Jamb provides merit list for them. I was once in your school of thought until I saw the process of this just processed admission and explanation by a member of the committee.... Thanks for understanding

Pietee: Chairman, you are on point. The last time I checked Uniabuja faculty of Law accept a pass in Mathematics i.e D7 or E8. Moreso combination of results be it Waec and Neco together its allowed. Just keep calm and thank God.

Pietee: My Oga calm down you are on a safe side. Technically Uniabuja Faculty of Law was not suppose to admit for two years, but before the suspension was placed on them, they have admitted some few prospective students that chose the school for year 2013. After much deliberation, they were given the opportunity to admit for the set. And since they are merging the two sets together prospective 2014 students have the benefit of being admitted to Law.
For your admission letter that showed you 5years, that is the correct duration and minimum for law, but for most people even mine JAMB has always kept 4years. So that shouldn't bother you. Happy you are in Law Faculty. Can't wait to see you. For any information about Law (Uniabuja) 07069299317.

kingobasi: I don't know for ur guys oo, my source told me that law wunt give out admission for 2yrs cos of the probs dey have.... So they might change ur course @ the process of the screening... For that 4yrs or 5yrs stuff its a mistake from jamb......

its so unfortunate,dats my dream course. The council of legal education released the status i tink last year october on there site after d first round of admissions(uniabuja),so it might take effect frm 2014 admission nt 2013 or has bin taken kia of by d skul. Trying to believe dat lol.

Dannyxy: God bless you, my point exactly, since I have known what they call university, I have never seen when "freshers" and "returning" student resume the same time, even in uniabuja, the new student always resume about two/three week before the the regular students. registration is not an easy work oh, so if truly the general resumption date is 13 October, I think we might be starting registration 29th September. last year the general resumption date was 13 may, the new started registration 29th April, so I feel the same might happen this year, let's just wait and see .. it just my opinion though.

Nawa o,on the 13th? I thought screening/clearance usually takes upto 2or3weeks? So screening/clearance/registeration wil take only 5days b4 lectures starts on 20th?
