Can someone please advice me. I am currently building a duplex in Onitsha. We are at the point of sand filling prior to doing the german floor or DPC. Now I am wondering if to sand fill with laterite or use sharp sand if cost are close.

You can use laterite sand (red mud) to fill it to some level and then use those river Niger sharp sands at the top for strong and good compression
