orisa37:What is this terrorist writing up and down? Reading all these gibberish in capital letters gives me headache. Have you eaten? |
If I go to Europe and violently command Germany, UK and France to merge into one country, name the country "White Bastards" (in reference to "Nigga Area" Nigeria), then import a cow rearer from Russia to become their president, is that a sin? Is killing, burning of public resources and blackmailing of your neighbours into giving you more allocation with Boko Haram terrorism a sin? Is using Fulani Herdsmen terrorism as a front to share Niger Delta oil money to your brothers from Chad and Sudan in the name of paying ransom to bandits a sin? Is hatred and marginalisation of your neighbours and rating them by 97% and 5% statement, etc a sin? Is looting and massacre and countless bloodletting by only one part of the country a sin? My father built three small huts on a very large piece of land which was inherited by me and my two brothers. Everyday our wives quarell and fight against each other. - If we decided to erect fence walls between the three houses and live together as neighbours instead of sworn enemies pretending to be brothers, is that a sin? Answer these and you'll discover whether secession is a sin or not. |
But according to some stupid sets of Nigerians, Igbos are not united. Tell me, when IPOB issues sit-at-home, which shops open in the whole Southeast? Markets, schools, factories, businesses even banks are closed and deserted till sit-at-home duration is expired. This one even said his means of livelihood is affected just for one week of not selling beef - and that's why North and South should remain one Nigeria (even if Fulani Herdsmen are wiping out his family). If Nigerians remove illiteracy or is it hypocrisy from their eyes they will learn that Igbos are the ones that love themselves the most and the ones that are united more than anybody and that's why Biafra or Igbo Republic will be an instant success (unlike Nigeria that practices fake love). What foreigners call lack of unity in Igboland is democracy. Democracy is not lack of unity. United States of America vote 50/50 for Republican and Democrats but when it comes to fighting terrorists that threaten the life of their citizens, everybody unites. This is exactly the opposite in Nigeria even among some of the tribes. Following shady characters like Tinubu or Buhari and doing everything they say without asking questions, voting anyone they bring is not unity. Igbos don't worship politicians and rich men and don't believe in herd mentality. If you are wayward and rich and become the richest king in the world, Igbos won't listen to you. If you speak the truth, if you like be as small as a 5-year-old, Igbos will listen to you and consult your opinion in the scheme of things. That's why Nnamdi Kanu is the most respected and most popular man in Igboland today. |
favor914:I don't remember reading news of ESN snatching ballot boxes. As far as I know, ESN is a vigilante group like Amotekun whose sole aim is to guide Eastern Region from criminal elements like Fulani Herdsmen terrorists, bandits, Boko Haram, etc. IPOB on the other hand has no interest in Nigeria or it's politics, wants a referendum to be held in order to determine if Nigeria should continue existing or should Easterners go separate ways - just as Scotland did recently in Britain (the same Britain that tells you referendum or separation is abomination). In fact IPOB has always told it's members to boycott Nigerian elections. Same can't be said for MC Oluomo and his thugs who are always used to snatch ballot boxes across Lagos, Southwest and beyond and most recently, used to jeopardise ENDSARS protests and attack ENDSARS protesters which led to nationwide chaos including burning dozens of police stations and killing of over 100 cops.
|
MC Oluomo the billionaire thug and Bullion Van Tinubu's number 1 rigging machine comes to mind In addition to: Bandits (who openly said they were sponsored by government) Boko Haram which was started as a campaign / election rigging thugs |
The lady seems to be enjoying the music from an aboki shoe maker who inadvertently transformed his awareness sounds into a melodious jingle. lalasticlala https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqB42Pc8gj8 |
Please don't mind the confusionists and drama queen Nigerian police. These are members of a white garment church and their pastor who were accused that ESN members ran into their church during confrontation with Army. They officially said no ESN members was arrested and turned around to arrest these poor folks as IPOB/ESN member https://ngospelmedia.net/news/ipob-vs-military-why-white-garment-church-leaders-were-arrested-in-orlu-imo-govt/ |
Rochas was/is a good man. If not greed I don't know what some people are looking for in politics. These free education schools he built most of them even before he started contesting for presidency back then in 2007 and later became governor. I used to hear about him back then so much. Everyone loved him. He was known for philanthropy. His foundation is used to sharing money and gifts to orphans, different market women groups and so many other people. TBF Rochas could afford to build the disputed hotel and university in Imo State in multiple fold even without venturing into the mucky waters of politics. Rochas really spoilt his name and lost the goodwill and love people had for him when he became governor and decamped to the witches coven called APC and above all started acting like someone who's possessed. He could have stayed neutral and become an elder statesman and respected billionaire of Imo like Iwuanyanwu and as Authur Eze is pretending to be. Also he fumbled by presenting Uche Nwosu. If he presented a different person as his successor he could have easily won the election and then Uche Nwosu can come in after 8 years of the person. |
Story. Telling us that price is why Toyota is selling is an insult to common sense. It's just like saying iPhone and Samsung are the most sold phones because they're cheaper than Tecno. The word you are looking for is value. Toyota has greater value both in North America, Europe, China and Africa more than any car brand. You buy a $20k Toyota you peacefully sell for $15k after 3 years or so. You buy a $30k troublesome Vokswagon or Mercedes or BMW, you sell with headache for $7k if you will even see buyer ![]() It's no coincidence that Toyota has the highest customer loyalty among all brands while Lexus has the highest customer loyalty among all luxury brands (trampled on BMW, Mercedes, etc). Google it. (edit: I googled and found out Subaru has surpassed Toyota in customer loyalty. Toyota is the highest stakeholder in Subaru with 20% stake. In fact, many Subaru cars are just Toyota or Scion (another 100%-owned division of Toyota) with Subaru logo. Lexus maintains its #1 position in luxury cars.) I quoted revenue screenshot not profit. Na only revenue dey compiled in one page. If you want to see their profit go to each company's Wikipedia one by one. No company comes close to Toyota in terms of profit because they plan their cars well and can sell one generation over a long period (2004 Hilux ran till 2015 and Landcruiser J70 ran from 1983 till today. No design change). You can't compare them to Europe car dealers that churn out faulty cars every year. Mercedes once recalled and closed production of the entire A-class in 1996 after they were deemed road hazard by safety regulations. Volkswagon is a known product spammer. They produce more car models than a prostitute at a red light sees men - yet Toyota sells more cars than them with fewer models every single year. Vokswagon was caught cheating and got fined billions of dollars differently in America and Europe for lying and altering emission ratings in their cars - just to get more market - yet Toyota sells more than them. You contradict yourself by saying Toyota is cheap yet costly in Nigeria. Lol. If tokunbo Toyota is cheap in America (just like Vokswagon, Mercedes and all these spammy Euro boxes), don't you think the price will be relative in Nigeria? A 2003 Corolla that was bought brand new in North America for $17k has equal or more secondhand price than a $42k Mercedes C-class of the same year. Both vehicles are not even in the same class. Corolla is meant to be in same class as Mercedes A-class while C-class is supposed to be paired with Lexus IS. Like I said, Toyota offers better value than these brands. Nothing else.

Where is the dingbat lalasticlala that was quoting a dumb Twitter user that tweeted that this did not happen recently? beautyhd:God bless you my brother. Fulani believe they own Nigeria and it's their right and they can hold everybody ransom and nobody can leave until they finish eating Niger Delta petrodollars. They will soon realise everyday for the thief one day for the owner. |
It also happened yesterday (I confirmed it - people from that place were calling me and crying that helicopter are shooting everywhere) and is currently happening today. Stop being an idiot. Even if it happened in December last year, what difference does it make that Nigerian Army whose mission is to serve and protect tax-paying civilians are the ones spraying bullets on them and causing panic and havoc? |
Again, you still fail. Toyota generates more revenue and makes 10 times more profit than Mercedes. 20bn USD vs 2bn USD. Toyota makes 40% more profit than Volkswagon and was the most valueable car company for like 10 years straight until Tesla shares soared months ago and Tesla took the title.

This literally shows you don't know anything about cars. Even under the hood, door panels, on the pages of vehicle manuals and everywhere in a Lexus car, you'll find "Toyota Japan" inscription. Sha. Na me find trouble by educating you.
|
mrcoolautofix:Lol. Lexus is North America? Dude close your mouth. Lexus is a name for luxury Toyota cars and they are made in Toyota factory in Japan, USA and anywhere by Toyota engineers. Lexus was created and owned by Toyota to compete in the upscale luxury market. Lexus and Toyota have always being in top 3 positions of car reliability list every single year since 2005. In fact there was a year three Toyota marquees held all 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions - Lexus, Scion and Toyota itself. No company spends more money paying celebrities to drive their cars like Mercedes and Vokswagon (Audi) https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/photos/1131083/barca-stars-receive-their-audi-cars Toyota don't do that. Toyota don't force anybody to drive their cars. United Nations, US Army, Nigeria Military and dozens of military and police in the world including terrorists prefer Toyota Hilux and Landcruiser. Bros, na long story we dey yarn. No continent on the planet where Vokswagon or Mercedes or any European brand outsells Toyota/Lexus excluding Europe which is Vokswagon and Mercedes home market where these two brands are sold dirt cheap without import fees. Even at that Toyota is expected to surpass Mercedes and BMW by the end of this year in Europe. Nigerians don't even buy brand new cars. They buy what others drove as tokunbo. If North America and the rest of the world don't prefer to buy Toyota, Nigerians won't see Toyota to drive. So, there you go: Toyota is loved by the world. Even when their entry cars like Corolla is bland as Bleep, the world insists it's what they love because of top reliability. Mind you Mercedes and Volkswagon offer much cheaper cars than Toyota eg Mercedes Smart Fortwo ($5000) but Toyota is preferred king of cars. |
Nonexistent:Not bullet-proof. I mean the car's reliability is top not-notch aka it has bullet-proof reliability like most Lexus cars. |
Also check this RWD Lexus GS particular generation. It doesn't look too fancy (I understand what you mean), is fast, feels heavy and as much fun to drive as a BMW or Porsche and most Euro cars. Plus you have Lexus bullet-proof reliability and peace of mind. Talking from first-hand experience.

Nonexistent:I think you need to see these threads: https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/4x9h7x/thinking_about_buying_a_chrysler_200_but_worried/ https://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comments/4ha9lv/whats_wrong_with_the_chrysler_200/ https://www.reddit.com/r/whatcarshouldIbuy/comments/6kcyct/why_does_everyone_seem_to_hate_the_chrysler_200/ The Dodge Challenger is not out of your budget at all if you can afford the Chrysler. There's a $28k base-model Dodge Challenger as well as a $90k Demon Dodge Challenger. If you don't want a Dodge Challenger, then there's the Dodge Charger that looks less aggressive, comes with 4 doors but is said to be less reliable than a Challenger. Again, I have never driven any of those American cars. I just have friends who drive them plus things I see online. The first thing I do when I want to buy a car is read reviews from actual users online, meet people who drive them if any and check Edmunds and Consumer Reports, etc. So far I'm not seeing good stuff about the Chrysler. |
Nonexistent:It's good to have a different taste once in a while but whatever you do, I wouldn't buy a high mileage Euro or American car if I were you. If the Chrysler has less than 30k miles and in top condition, go for it. You'll either enjoy it or tell horrible tales of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhdRv3KNHXA For me, the Dodge Challenger is the only American muscle car that I've heard good stories about its reliability in addition to it's fun (from people that own it). Porsche is another brand that makes fun cars and have at least some good reliability rating. Even though it's owned by Volkswagen, I'm surprised it's rated slightly better than other Euro and German brands. I also like to admire Volvo's safety, Chevrolet's power and Audi's high-end tech but always from a safe distance. |
Nonexistent:You're generalising here. A FWD Toyota Corolla or Camry is a daily driver and not meant to give you thrills. A Mercedes A-class or GLA or BMW 2series is as "boring" or could even be less thrilling than a Corolla. That said, there are Toyotas meant for thrilling driving. As much as they're as enjoyable as the other competitors, they're more reliable (you will spend less time stranded by the roadside and use your money to buy stocks rather than looking for new engine, SAMS, transmission, this and that you'll buy for repair of your car). These enjoyable Toyotas are: Toyota 86 Toyota Yaris GR Toyota Supra (especially 1996 MK4 Supra) Toyota trucks (Hilux, Tacoma, Tundra) Lexus IS Lexus GS Lexus RC Lexus LC (expensive though) Lexus LS (you can buy a 2010 generation for as low as $8k) Toyota Century (the new one is over $300k. Not that one o. You can get the last generation Century for as low as $30k). Other notable mentions: Toyota Avanza (RWD minivan) Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC (stopped production but you can still buy a used model somewhere). BTW an American car I'll gladly choose is Dodge Challenger. The design is timeless and it's rated very highly in reliability (reliability is very important not cos of money alone but the inconveniences of taking your vehicle to workshops and running around for spare parts.). |
Attached is the official Consumer Reports USA 2021 car brand reliability list. Half the cars you mentioned are not in top 20 reliability list. Peugeot was not even rated in top 26. BMW is highest on the list at number 12. Now, if you buy a brand new 2021 car in North America for $20k, you'll pay almost the same price for shipping and customs duty to bring it to Nigeria. That's like paying the price of two cars for one car. If you buy a 2010 $4000 flogged, beat-up car in North America, you will still pay about $2500 - 3000 for its shipping and customs duty to get it in Nigeria. That's double. Now after spending so much money to buy one car for the price of two, why will a sane person leave Toyota, Lexus, Honda or any of the top 5 reliable car brands to land a bottom-10 European money pit that will burn a hole in his wallet? Yes, Vokswagon is popular in Europe and China because they're manufactured there and sold at dirt-cheap price. No customs, no shipping or irregular fees to pay. If a brand new Mercedes or BMW or Vokswagon is sold here for 15m (price of Mercedes A-class in Europe) while a 2010 after-first-user/tokunbo model of such cars can be bought 300k to 800k like obtained in Europe or North America, then people can consider using the extra change they saved from buying the European money-pits to fix them when they spoil - which they usually do. Also, European cars are known to be not very good after 100k mileage. Most Toyotas in Nigeria have over 200k and 300k milage when they were imported. An European-made car above 100k miles is considered to be finished, not just in Nigeria but in North America (ask anybody there) because they're now out of warranty and hardly any of them will stay on the road without burning more holes in your wallet.

1st it's a Tokunbo car of 2010 (foreign used) and cannot be brand new. 2ndly, that brick-shaped Mercedes GLK shitbox among other electrical and mechanical issues, is known to leak fuel after filling up to 3/4 of the tank. Before being discontinued in 2015 due to poor sales, nearly the entire 2011/2012 lineup of GLK were recalled for this issue yet the issue persists in 2010 models as well as newer models. There are thousands of complaints on online forums of this car model (and other models from Mercedes leaking fuel and or catching fire (also google Mercedes Benz C300 2015 model fire)). https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2010/MERCEDES-BENZ/GLK-CLASS 3rdly, post-1996, Mercedes has been known to produce very low-quality, hurried vehicles that come with serious safety and reliability issues (google the dangerously summasulting Mercedes A-Class of 1997). Since the past 5 years or more, Mercedes has not entered the top 17 fold of US Consumer Reports reliability list. This year I think they're 20. Sometimes they fall as far as 23 or 25 while in contrast Toyota and their luxury division Lexus have remained between number 1 to 3 every single year of the same period. Also, Mercedes do not have good customer service unlike their Japanese counterparts. The worst part is when they refuse to acknowledge the issues in their cars and need widespread outrage or lawsuits to do a recall whereas Toyota does major recalls without much ado. There's a video of a youtuber who set his car on fire after Mercedes refused to acknowledge nor repair the damage which came from factory with his Mercedes GT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TVCWKa1mbkE In conclusion, buy Mercedes or any other European brand if you want just the "awww! awww!" but if you care for your own sanity and have a phobia for cars throwing random stunts like this, look for a Lexus or Toyota. Mazda (post 2010) and Honda are very good cheaper options too. |
“BUA then took it upon itself to offer to pay for the 1million doses at the agreed rate of US$3.45 per dose totaling US$3,450,000,000.00 which translates to 1.311billion Naira.I remember last week when Peter Obi said he can beat the price of vaccines from $8/dose as agreed by FG to $3/dose and some cretins were criticizing him. The problem with Nigerians is that they know what is right and who is right but hatred, bigotry, hypocrisy and tribalism will make them rather prefer the likes of Thiefnu.bu and Buhari over competent individuals. |
