lol. You have it the other way around. Very simply, the Medical Doctor is UK-facing, with an English wife, while the Support Worker is Nigeria-facing. Someone who is UK-facing is thinking of bringing out £500k-£1m to live in a good neighbourhood, and after that is thinking of UK property investments to secure their children's future. . . . while someone who is Nigeria-facing may be happy to pay rent in UK and send back any small money to build in Nigeria. I think this is a very good explanation and honestly this is the first time I'm thinking of it this way. I think one thing that most people fail to understand is getting married to someone who understands you and your culture. Because there are a lot of white women that follow their partner back to Africa to stay. Realistically, you plan for GOING AND COMMING. So you divide your EV range by half to make a full round trip. So the longest distance with a guaranteed return from on an ev is it range divided by half.

Thank you for your post. It's nothing but the truth. A family friend has been in the UK since 2007, he's a medical doctor, he got married to a uk citizen, but till today, he hasn't taken anyone from his family here in Nigeria to the UK, he always talk about life being different and saying people in Nigeria would not understand. He has no investment in Nigeria, he says investing in Nigeria would be a mistake for him and all that.

On the other hand is another family friend who left Nigeria 2023, she was a contract staff in a bank while she was here. Before leaving, she sold the only land that she had. She works as a support worker and other menial jobs in the UK. She's constantly talking about UK being the best thing that has happened to her, according to her, she does different shift, and any possible work she sees, she jumps on it. Presently, she bought a land in Nigeria early last year and she's done building and furnishing her duplex last month. What am I saying, mindset is the difference, some people earn 100k in Nigeria and they're good with saving and managing their cash, while some earn 700k and they're constantly in debt and always complaining. That's the reason i don't listen to those people always complaining about the UK because 95% of them are just lazy, ungrateful and have no money management skills.

Tinubu begged Elrufai publicly to support him. The fact that he turned 360 and betrayed Elrufai does not change the fact that Elrufai helped him. Tinubu is repeating the muslim-muslim ticket largely because Obi is in the race and Southern/Christian votes are still not a guarantee. His only karma is that even the Northern Muslims are aware of that fact and are no longer keen on his muslim-muslim ticket.

It is to put paid to all these theories and bring lasting peace through facts that made Elrufai decide to run on muslim-muslim ticket after his then deputy, Bala Bantex was ostracised by his own people in Southern Kaduna. Bala stepped down as Elrufai's deputy due to backlash and ran for senate but his own people refused to vote for him. He later died of a broken heart. Elrufai ran on muslim-muslim ticket in his second tenure and won with over a million votes. Uba Sani also retained same muslim-muslim ticket in 2023 and won Isah Ashiru despite a lot of Muslims voting for Ashiru as well. Uba Sani deciding to pick a Christian is a political decision because his strategy from day one is to win back the Christian bloc considering the little margin he won with. That was why he moved against Elrufai. He wagered that if Ashiru gets the Christian votes, along with most of the Muslim votes like he was set to do, then he (Uba) will be defeated. He is still not home and dry because beyond propaganda, his performance as governor is nothing to write home about and religion is still a huge factor in Northern politics, just as ethnicity is in the Southwest.

P.S: None of these politicians are truly religious. They simply exploit religious, ethnic and tribal sentiments to win elections. The biggest pawns are the people. The bigger irony is from Tinubu's lackeys who vilify Elrufai for running on muslim-muslim ticket while their principal is repeating the same after having won only because of muslim-muslim ticket. Nigeria needs a more balanced ticket than Kaduna does. The Northern Muslims are quietly observing the hypocrisy and will be waiting for Tinubu at the ballot.

Tinubu's aim is to bring to reality the fact that most of the northern votes are hyper inflated and to put to an end the northern religious voting bias and sham, and it would be very glaring this coming election that voting by religious/block ground can't work in Nigeria. He will definitely win and bring an end to the whole religious and northern pride that Elrufai started in 2015. What he wants to do is to let the north know that with or without their support a president would emerge.

Level 3 chargers are 50kw and above. The can charge from 0 to 100% in around 20 minutes. But do you know what 50kw is?

No home can produce that kind of power. It's mostly used in commercial charging stations. Even level 2 is a massive 7kw that's like running almost 20 average refrigerators at once.

Only you go dey hog more than 10 percent of your local transformer power output just to charge your ev faster.

You can't be using that EV car and be using Grid to charge it. All you need to do is build a solar charge point and you're good to go.

But, having lived in kaduna for long and accessing almost all the local government, and even having had certain muslim clerics admitting Christians were more than Muslims as far back as 2008, i can tell you, it's all sham. Most of the religious population percentage they present is nothing but sham.

It is evident from most of the kick back you get most times when verification topics are brought up from northern states who assume they have the higher population. A recent case is when Inec chairman made mention of revalidation of information on the database, you'd notice the most noise come from regions that claim to have the highest percentage of muslims. One of the most abused subjects in Nigerian politics - INCLUDING AMONGST MY DIVERSE KADUNA STATE FRIENDS-is the religious composition of Kaduna State.
During every election cycle, this my circle of kaduna friends confidently throw around figures like "Kaduna is 70% Muslim," "Kaduna is evenly split," or "Christians are the majority."

The problem is that none of them can produce an official census to support those claims.

The simple truth is this: Nigeria has never published an official religion-by-religion population breakdown for Kaduna State or any of its 23 local government areas.
The 2006 National Population Census—the latest completed census—did not release religious statistics. That means no one can honestly claim to know the exact percentage of Muslims or Christians in Kaduna.

However, the absence of official figures does not mean we cannot make an informed assessment.

As a lone Yoruba man in this PATHETIC Kaduna lot, i decided to research Kaduna's settlement patterns, ethnic composition, migration history and election results. When these factors are examined together, a remarkably consistent picture emerges.

Northern Kaduna—including LGAs such as Zaria, Giwa, Ikara, Makarfi, Kudan, Soba, Kubau and Birnin Gwari—is overwhelmingly Muslim.

Southern Kaduna—including Jaba, Zangon Kataf, Kaura, Sanga and Jema'a—is overwhelmingly Christian.

The real complexity lies in the middle. LGAs such as Kaduna South, Chikun, Kajuru, Kagarko and Kachia have substantial populations of both religions and cannot honestly be described as belonging exclusively to either faith.

After reviewing historical demographic studies, ethnic settlement patterns, voting behaviour and urban migration, i came to a reasonable political estimate—not an official census result— that Kaduna today is likely composed of approximately 56–58% Muslims and 42–44% Christians.

Please o, am not presenting this estimate as official data. It is an analytical conclusion based on multiple indicators rather than population enumeration.

Interestingly, the 2019 governorship election provides indirect evidence of just how closely divided Kaduna really is.

Nasir El-Rufai, running on a Muslim-Muslim ticket, won with 1,045,427 votes (55.32%), while the PDP's Isa Ashiru secured 814,168 votes (43.08%).
2019 governorship election is the most religiously divisive election in kaduna state. Can you see the corrolary?

Kaduna remains one of Nigeria's most religiously diverse states. It has one of the largest Christian populations in Northern Nigeria and simultaneously contains some of the country's most overwhelmingly Muslim local governments.

That is precisely why simplistic slogans such as "Kaduna is a Muslim state" or "Christians are the majority" are both misleading.

The evidence points instead to a state with a Muslim plurality, a very large Christian minority, and several genuinely mixed local governments where elections are decided by coalition-building rather than religious arithmetic.

In other words, Kaduna is too politically sophisticated—and too demographically complex—to be reduced to propaganda.

You can't use the percentage you wrote there because election in Nigeria is strictly who rig pass. Elrufai won the first time because people thought he would transform KD the way he did in some parts of Abj during Obj regime. The second time, he rigged it. Most Christians don't vote based on religion, if Christians where to begin voting by religion in Nigeria, there would hardly be a Muslim in power.

And there's hardly a day that passes by without people ACTIVELY speaking pidgin more than any other language in Nigeria. Inshort, if not for something, I would have said, pidgin should have been our official language because even in schools, most people understand something better when spoken in pidgin than in english.
