seagulsntrawler: Assad makes surprise Christmas visit to Damascus church (PHOTOS) Published time: 19 Dec, 2015 19:30 Edited time: 19 Dec, 2015 19:39 A Christmas choir had a surprise visitor overnight after Bashar Assad made an appearance at a church in the Syrian capital of Damascus where rehearsals were taking place. The Syrian president and his wife, Asma, visited the Notre Dame de Damas Church, an ancient cathedral located just 2 kilometers from the rebel-held neighborhood of Jobar in the eastern suburb of Ghouta in Damascus. Assad and his wife chatted with the men and women of the "Joy Choir," who were practicing ahead of a performance on Christmas Eve, state media said Saturday. The couple were seen smiling and posing for pictures with the group and also listened to the recital of Christmas poems at the church, which was hit by mortar fire on Friday. The visit coincided with the adoption of Friday’s UN Security Council resolution calling for a ceasefire and political settlement in Syria, which was unanimously adopted. The resolution refrained from mentioning the Syrian leader. Source: https://www.rt.com/news/326541-assad-visit-church-damascas/ beautiful, it shows dat d dictator also fears God |
Politics › Re: REVEALED: IBB Threatens To Expose Buhari If He Continues Halliburton Bribe Scand by Raphael81(m): 11:07am On Dec 28, 2015 |
mrBN: Following the probe led by President Buhari to re-open the investigation of $182million Halliburton bribe scandal, it was gathered that the probe would have led to the past leaders, people like, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB), former Nigeria’s Head of State and General Olusegun Obasanjo, also a former Nigeria’s president.
According to CNN iReport, Buhari’s August visit to USA was to re-open the case but when Obasanjo finds out he called IBB, he brought the attention of IBB to the fact that they way Buhari was going about corruption-fight, he would eventually probe the majority of past administration, including IBB era.
It was also gathered that, when the hints was too tough, both the former leaders also called the attention of another Nigerian Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubakar; The reports revealed that Abdusalami paid a visit to IBB in his Minna Castle in Niger State, it was there they concluded that IBB should stylishly pass-on their statement to Buhari to stop his earlier, intentioned probe of his predecessors. ALSO READ: Ben Bruce to Buhari - "Each Presidential trip costs can pay salaries of over 1000 workers"
In a press statement issued by IBB through his media adviser, Prince Kassim Afegbua, shows that IBB threatens Buhari to expose his misdeeds if he eventually go on with the probe, the statement reportedly reads:
“On General Buhari, it is not in IBB’s tradition to take up issues with his colleague former president. But, for the purpose of the record, we are conversant with General Buhari’s so-called holier-than-thou-attitude. He is a one-time minister of petroleum and we have good records of his tenure.
Secondly, he also presided over Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF) which records we also have. We challenge him to come out in clean hands in those two portfolios he headed. Or, we will help him to expose his records of performance during those periods. Those who live in glass houses do not throw stones. General Buhari should be properly guided.”
CNN iReport gathered when intelligence report reached Buhari on the position of these retired Army Generals and former Heads of State, and bearing in mind how mean they can fully engage him in ‘dirty-fight’ which may ridicule him in the eyes of Nigerians and expose his stewardship then as Minister of Petroleum in 1976 that led to the mysterious disappearance of a whooping US $2.8 Billion from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC account in Midlands Bank, United Kingdom allegedly under his watchful-eyes, Buhari quickly made a detour and issued a press statement through Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser, Media & Publicity claiming the investigation of Buhari administration would only be limited to his predecessor, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GEJ, the man who honorably handed peacefully to Buhari on May 28, 2015 at Eagle Square so Nigeria may remain united as an indivisible nation.

emmmmmmm it may sound like a fiction for those that do not believe in the existence of God, so before writing, the jurat i will give is that " for those who believe in God, no explanation is necessary, but those who dont believe in him, then no explanation is possible."Early dis week, maybe monday or tuesday, i had a dream and in that particular dream, in this dream i was in a church and people were praising God, suddenly i was thrown on the floorand i realised tgat as a man i was very empty, and in my emptiness i still begged God to fill in the vacuum in me |

Nairaland General › Re: Getting Subdued By The "Unknown":medically Proven Or Spiritual? by Raphael81(m): 10:49pm On Oct 31, 2015 |
trapQ: Dear op,
The medical term for this (like some users above clearly stated) is "sleep paralysis" and there are no known medications for it. It supposedly is induced by stress, lack of sleep, cold, poor diet etc. However, I'd like you to know that this has absolutely nothing to do with medicine. This is a spiritual problem. I've had this issue since I was a toddler, and mine is pretty severe as it occurs every other night, or multiple times in a night. Never sleep face up, be sure to sleep face down, or sideways. Some user above said its cause by "incubus",(you may want to google that), but some other spiritual entities other than that could be the cause too.
Try to be more prayerful, Remember "we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness in high places". This is what that statement meant. Your case is better, you don't see them but I do Bye!!! u see what ? |
