What I love about korean mealtimes is how it always looks like a feast no matter how small. The presentation as well is always on another level even though what is on the plate is just cucumbers. It is also almost always healthy with the side veggies.

I'm referring to him as that because that was how I saw him for the most part of the untamed.

I empathised with him a little bit and I knew that he loved WWX but I thought he could have done a lot lf things better.

AND THEN!!!

I came across a tweet recommending some XiCheng fics and I was stumped. That was a pairing that I couldn't imagine lol.

In my head I was like why would you inflict JC on Zewu Jun the kind?

But I like knowing about things before judging (lol) so I started one fic.

All I have to say is OMO!!!!

There are so many layers to JC's character that I couldn't see and these fics + the awesome authors taught me about.

By the time I was done with the 5 recommended fics, I had so much love and empathy for his character.

I don't have energy to talk about how much I appreciate his character now. I can't wait to rewatch the untamed!

Okay I have to say that a part of me is upset that he let himself get played that bad.

I loveeee how he can read LWJ so well.

I'm looking forward to diving into his character and all the things they couldn't show in the drama, through the novels later in life.

Sigh. I'm still as obsessed with the untamed as I was when I first watched it and it's only fan fics that are literally keeping me from abandoning my responsibilities to watch it again, lol.

I'm also super jealous of the talented writer and fan fic writers that can create and give life to characters like this. With so much depth and emotion and everything.
