Just imagine it was the other Muslims that were treated this way, will there be peace right now? No one is saying that the Shiites have the right to block roads, but how does blocking a road justify killings that occurred long after the said road block. If at least one of the soldiers in the convoy with Buratai was killed by the sect then the army would have a say.

The question is, when will the thousands of non-shia Muslims who block high ways in the north every Friday of every week in the name of prayers be massacred for blocking roads?
Those of us who live in the north are first class witnesses to this idiotic and very annoying attitude
This is so bad that people are afraid to travel on Fridays and if you do take the courage to travel, then you are in for some serious risk. While traveling, It's either the driver (if he is a hausa muslim), just drive all the persangers towards the nearest mosque on the highway, go out of the car without seeking the persangers permission and walk straight to the middle of a croud already grounding their fore- heads on the ground to do as they do or your while traveling, your car just gets stuck in front of a great croud of so-called worshippers praying their lives in the high way.

For me if the Government could condone an every week event of road barricading, then why take an annual rroad blocking so seriously to the extent of alleging that the sect wanted to assassinate the chief of army staff?
Pls let us call a spade a spade.

PoliticsNorth Silent Again As It Did When Boko Haram Killed Christians by rappeddy(op): 5:18am On Jan 18, 2016
When Boko Haram first emerged and targeted the Christians, the north was silent. The traditional leaders, Muslim clerics and State governors were loudly silent. Apart from a few less popular but true scholars who stood up and condemned the terrorists, the larger north dissociated itself from doing so in spite of raging public demand.
The papers were awash with criticism: why does the north not condemn Boko Haram? Where is the Sultan? Why does Buhari not speak? These were the comments that we remembered filled up main stream and social media. Many northern governors were even accused of financing Boko Haram, at least to keep them out of their States and left to destroy the northeast. Some northern eminents went even as far as praising Boko Haram while it bombed Churches religiously almost every weekend. Former PDP chairman, Bamanga Tukur is noted to have said, ‘Boko Haram is fighting for justice, Boko Haram is another name for justice.”

Later Boko Haram turned its sights on the silent and supportive north. They bombed and killed northern Muslims and other faithfuls in droves. They struck major northern cities and visited dozens of Mosques including Kano’s Central. Numbers say Boko Haram ended up killing more innocent northern Muslims than they had Christians in their early days. Tens of thousands were killed and 3 million displaced. The struggling northern economy was devastated beyond recovery as has been its reputation. Children and families have been broken beyond repair with hundreds impregnated by terrorists.
Dejavu
Today the Human Rights Watch and Nigerian Human Rights Commission has clearly condemned the excesses of the Military in Zaria between December 12th to the 16th of last year. Very few normal human beings can see reason to the massacre of pogrom defines. Hundreds were killed in response to an alleged attack on the nation’s military Chief and later explained on the basis of the Islamic movement being a “nuiscance.” Hundreds were kidnapped and held extra-judiciously incommunicado by the State including the head of the Islamic movement and his wife after their three more sons were shot and burned to death.
Graves of the minority Muslim group were exhumed as their homes were demolished by the Nigerian army and Kaduna State government.
The persecution continued with government lavishly sponsored hate campaigns against the oppressed minority, selecting fanatic scholars and other extremist community members to propagate extensive deadly hate campaigns against the already persecuted faithfuls. And to top it up, justice was denied with the administration, both State and Federal implicating the dead and defenseless without probe and selecting fanatic hate-filled brothers to lead the partial investigations at the involved-participant State-level.
And through this all, the north remained silent as they did during the days Boko Haram persecuted the Christians. Some…enough northerners even rejoiced, praising the military Chief who they fondly called, “Ayatollah Buratai.” There was no sense of guilt and no care. There has been no sense of remorse or regret. There is no recollection of what the days of silence and silent support of Boko Haram did to the north.
We will watch this one unravel, sadly.

PoliticsNigerians To Be Driven Out Of The USA by rappeddy(op): 4:58am On Jan 18, 2016
American Billionaire and Republican Presidential Front-runner, Donald Trump, has shot a subtle warning to the Nigerian Community in the United States, after he said all Nigerians would be made to leave the country “when he becomes President”.
He made the “threat” during a rally at Wichita, Kansas. According to Donald Trump, Nigerians and Mexicans have taken all the jobs meant for honest hard working Americans.
“To Make America great again, we need to get rid of the Muslims, Mexicans and the Africans, especially the Nigerians. They take all our jobs, jobs meant for honest hard working Americans, and when we don’t give them the jobs, the Muslims blow us up”, Trump said.
“We need to get the Africans out. Not the blacks, the Africans. Especially the Nigerians. They’re everywhere. I went for a rally in Alaska and met just one African in the entire state. Where was he from? Nigeria! He’s in Alaska taking our jobs. They’re in Houston taking our jobs. Why can’t they stay in their own country? Why? I’ll tell you why. Because they are corrupt. Their Governments are so corrupt, they rob the people blind and bring it all here to spend. And their people run away and come down here and take our jobs! We can’t have that! If I become president, we’ll send them all home. We’ll build a wall at the Atlantic Shore. Then maybe we’ll re-colonize them because obviously they did not learn a damn thing from the British!”
His speech was met with raucous applause by the 10,000 strong predominantly Caucasian audience. What this portends for Nigeria in the event of the Trump victory is still unclear, but the Nigerian Ambassador to the US has so far allayed fears of all Nigerians living in the USA, although we gather he has secretly packed his bags and is set to move to Mexico or Canada if Trump becomes President.

PoliticsDasukigate: Still Waiting For Buhari To Return SUVs Collected by rappeddy(op): 3:39am On Jan 16, 2016
While the probe into the utilisation of funds allocated to the National Security Adviser’s office is gathering momentum, I thought President Muhammadu Buhari would have by now returned the SUVs he admitted receiving from former President Goodluck Jonathan, in line with the spirit of anti-corruption. I have been expecting the President to return the SUVs for weeks now without a positive response. Why should a man with a “saintly, austere and frugal lifestyle” be holding on to one armoured SUV and one untreated SUV? An armoured SUV can cost as much as $120,000. I am thoroughly disappointed. It calls to question Buhari’s much-touted determination to fight corruption.
Of course, we all now know that the office of the NSA bought (from security vote) and delivered the SUVs to Buhari in line with the instruction of Jonathan. Such gifts for former heads of state should be procured and delivered by the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and not that of the NSA. Buhari should know better. Our dear President has no moral right holding on to these vehicles. He has to lead by example. The excuses for accepting and holding on to the vehicles are preposterous.
Our dear President can’t deny reports that he has been collecting pension and other entitlements as a retired general. So, he should not be telling Nigerians that he collected the SUVs from Jonathan in keeping with his entitlements as a former Head of State under the Remuneration of Former Presidents and Heads of State (And Other Ancillary Matters) Decree of 1999. Is our dear President saying that he has been collecting two pensions? This is obviously illegal. He has to speak up. The nation can’t be paying him two pensions. If this has been happening, Buhari has to make refunds to the federal government.
Again, President Buhari was given the SUVs by Jonathan after the attack by suspected Boko Haram members on his convoy in Kaduna in 2014, during which some of the vehicles in his convoy were damaged. Now, some of those opposed to compensation paid by Jonathan to corporate bodies attacked by Boko Haram have argued that such victims ought to have insurance in place and that compensation should be from the insurance companies. We should also be asking our dear Buhari too why he did not insure the vehicles in his convoy? If he did, why did he not collect compensation from the insurance company? Or, was it that he collected compensation from the insurance company and also from Jonathan? Again, I strongly believe that those who became heads of state through the barrels of the gun have no business benefiting from this pension arrangement. It should be strictly for democratically-elected presidents.
For me, the whole Dasukigate drama has been one big diversionary tactic by President Buhari. It is aimed at diverting attention from the failure of his administration to effectively deal with any of the problems it promised Nigerians to tackle. At present, there is so much suffering in our land. Families are struggling to survive as inflation continues unabated. Many can hardly afford a meal a day. The economy that was handed over to Buhari in fairly good shape is now in tatters. Virtually all economic indices are on the negative side. The last eight months have been horrendous. We have never had it so bad; yet all we hear is the Dasukigate story. Thousands of Nigerians are thrown out of jobs daily as our industries struggle to survive. Many factories are shutting down following stifling economic policy, forex crisis and crumbling Naira.
After almost eight months, this administration can’t, in all honesty, point to any achievement in any sector of the economy. Electricity supply remains epileptic. Federal roads are in shreds. I am not sure that this administration has been able to asphalt a single kilometer of road in almost eight months. Federal hospitals and higher institutions are in a mess. In some states, Nigerians are paying as much as N150 per litre of petrol instead of the official N86.50. Kerosene that ought to sell for N67 per litre is selling for N160 per litre. Only very few people are asking Buhari why the Naira is not yet at par with the USD as promised? The Naira handed over to his administration at one to 218USD has been badly battered. As at yesterday, the USD was exchanging for over N300.
The most painful of Buhari’s failure is his inability to tame the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists as promised. He told Nigerians that he would decapitate the terrorists within two months. But eight months after, little progress was made. In fact, the monster called Boko Haram has grown bigger. Under Buhari’s watch, and in under eight months, Boko Haram has killed over 2000 Nigerians. We have never had it so bad. Just on Monday, the terrorists entered Madagali in Adamawa State and killed six people. We are still waiting for Abubakar Shekau’s head and our dear Chibok girls.
The Buhari administration could not even put together a realistic budget for 2016. All we hear is the fight against corruption. The ludicrous budget was predicated on $38 per barrel of crude oil in spite of the obvious crumbling oil price. The budget aims to borrow over 30% to fund expenditure. He submitted a budget in which the vote for the maintenance of Aso Rock was astronomically increased in spite of the poverty in our land. Now, Buhari is trying to adjust the farcical budget through the back door. Our dear president must learn to concentrate on his core governance responsibilities instead of running after Dasuki. He should allow the EFCC to do its job, and concentrate on puting together a pragmatic economic plan for the country. Our economy is clearly in a mess.
PoliticsEmir Sanusi Warns Against Repeat Of 1966 Coup by rappeddy(op): 3:23am On Jan 16, 2016
Alhaji Mohammad Sanusi II, the emir of Kano says a repeat of the 1966 military coup is possible.
The emir made the disclosure on Thursday, January 14, in his brief remarks during the 50th commemoration of the death of the Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello.
He pointed out that it was such issues of disaffection from a section of the country then that ignited the coup that claimed the life of the premier of Northern Nigeria, the Sardauna of Sokoto, and other national leaders in the country at that time.
Sanusi said Nigerians have moved beyond the 1966 coup, but according to him, it appears history is being repeated.
He stressed the importance of letting bye-gones be bye-gones, saying: “We must not allow history to repeat itself.”
The former CBN governor maintained that Nigerians who are allegedly fanning the embers of violence and disunity of the country should stop it to avoid a backlash.
He noted that every section of the country had at one time tasted power and as well produced bad or good leaders, adding that all sections of the country must come together and move on as one country.
“We must not fail to learn from the past. We cannot get back to religious and ethnic divides. We are calling for tolerance and peace but we will not be allowed to be disrespected,” the emir of Kano said.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Sule emphasized the need for northern leaders to ensure the good values left behind by Sardauna and his colleagues were not thrown overboard.
In his keynote address, entitled ‘The North, 50 Years After Sir Ahmadu Bello’, Maitama Sule noted that in the days of the late Sarduana, northern Nigeria was a united region.
He noted saying: “We were our brothers’ keepers, we are no longer our brothers’ keepers, things have gone astray.
“We used to respect our elders and the constituted authority, but today the respect is no longer there, today there is chaos in politics, immorality in the society. We need leaders, not rulers.”
“If we follow the philosophy of Sardauna, Nigeria will be better for it. However, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel for a better Nigeria,” the ambassador said.
However, he expressed optimism that under the present leadership Nigeria will overcome its problems.
Also in his own speech, the former governor of Niger state and chairman of the board of trustees of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Alhaji Muazu Babangida Aliyu, described Sarduana as a generous northern leader who carried everybody along irrespective of religious and ethnic differences.
He expressed regret that with all Sarduana’s power and influence, he died a poor man with no bank account because he never amassed wealth from public funds.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to be the special guest of honour at the 50 th anniversary of the demise of Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto . The president is expected to launch a special edition of New Nigeria Newspapers and a photo exhibition. https://www.naij.com/696899-bloody-coup-emir-sanusi-sends-nigeria-strong-warning.html
EducationMarried In School But Single At Home by rappeddy(op):
MARRIED IN SCHOOL, SINGLE AT HOME
Thinking about this topic, I’ve been wondering who the focus of this post should be – girls or guys or both.
In almost every tertiary institution in Nigeria, you find ‘undergraduate couples’ living as husbands and wives. You find a lot of these misguided people in virtually all schools. It’s so bad that, often times, they are duly recognised and acknowledged as couples by lodge neighbours, classmates and even leaders of various students associations. Little wonder there is such an award as “The best couple of the year award”, shamelessly and thoughtlessly received by students. Like I said earlier, I really don’t know the particular gender to address but let me just keep typing. The rate at which girls live with their boyfriends in their various off-campus hostels is painfully alarming.
Most times, these young girls are very beautiful, with bright and promising future. They cohabit with boys who are their fellow students as roommates. The lugubrious part of it is that the silly girl would always introduce the small boy as her fiancé. Our society is really sick, courtesy of those that live in it. These girls collect either hostel fees or house rents from unsuspecting (and sometimes, struggling)parents and end up in the house of a boy. You struggled possibly for several years to gain admission. You probably became a prayer warrior posting and shouting ‘Amen’ at the slightest provocation. You fasted. You had one prayer point filled with promises of your loyalty and devotion to God if only He would answer your prayer. Now that He has fulfilled His part by answering and granting you admission, don’t you think He is expecting you to fulfill your own part, to keep whatever promises you made to Him?
Many of you just got admission and once you settle down (especially from your second year), crazy thoughts will begin to creep into your minds. Yes by then, the heat of the rush would have been over; If God didn’t capture you (possibly through the various campus fellowships), boys would have caught you. One of my friends told me how in their school they even have an unrecognized, unregistered but well offered course (Moz101. moz, being the short form 4 Mozambique hall, were fresh female students ar accommodated). For the guys its a course that shouldn't be carried over.
Soon, they would persuade you to move in with them. Of course, they’d give you one thousand reasons to make you give in to their prodding.

Before you agree to move in and live with a boy on campus, why not consider the reason why you are in school in the first place. What image would you be creating about yourself?
Can this boy marry you in case you get pregnant for him as is always the case, or will you resort to series of abortions like many other girls before you?
What advice would you give your children in future concerning this kind of things? After school, what next? Will the relationship really lead you anywhere?

This post is finally addressing the female folks. I didn’t plan it that way though. Maybe it’s because they are the worst hit by the grave consequences of illicit sexual relationships. They are the ones that turn out to be the sore losers in the end. They call it school life but they don’t realize how idiotic they have been till it’s too late. You are not in school to get married.
Part of the reasons why you are in school IS NOT to get the husband-and-wife experience, to see what it feels like for the boy to provide the money for food and for the girl to go to the market for food stuff and cook. That’s pure misplacement of purpose!
One guy told me that he was practically learning how to be a caring and romantic husband. Such shameless! Then you hear the girl say, “We are not doing anything, we are just roommates”. Yet she commits countless abortions before graduation.
Yes, your admission has given you unlimited freedom. Yes, your parents are not there to tell you what to do or what not to do. There is even no blood relation around, so there's no fear of someone reporting you. But what about giving your womanhood respect and protecting your dignity?
What about living in such a way as to have a positive story to tell the next generation (including your children) without your conscience pricking you?
Don't forget 'What Goes Around Always Comes Around....
Why not exercise a moment of patience and just ponder over this.

Please, what's your take over this?
RomanceTen Dirty Questions That Will Turn Her On by rappeddy(op): 10:49pm On Jan 09, 2016
Men can all agree that there is something incredibly sexy about making a girl feel aroused simply by talking to her. Thanks to technical advances, guys can now use their s*xting techniques to get their girl in the mood. Whether you are whispering face-to-face with her or sending her steamy digital messages.
here are 15 suggestive questions sure to get her in a hot and heavy mindset for sex.
Disclaimer: While some guys might use these questions to flirt with a girl, that’s not always advisable. Women often feel offended (that’s a little too much, too soon, buddy!) instead of becoming aroused. It’s always best to save these arousing questions for the woman already solidly in your life.
What do you wear when you go to bed? This is always a good question to start with, since it gets her thinking about the bedroom and often leads to questions about sexy lingerie and flirty pajamas. Ask her about any sexy nightgowns she likes to wear, and whether or not she sleeps in the nude.
What is your sexiest outfit? Find out what she thinks she looks sexiest wearing. You might be surprised! Sometimes, long-term couples learn a little more about each other’s sexual fantasies by asking this innocent question. For some it’s the perfect opportunity to tell their partners about a sexy new outfit they’ve been wanting to try on.
Have you ever accidentally (or purposely) watched another couple make out? This is the perfect question to ask to slowly give your line of questioning more sexual overtones. Since you’re inquiring about the s*xual activities of other people, she’s more likely to continue to relax and play along with your line of sensual questioning.
Have you ever decided to kiss or make out with a guy just because you were Hot? Men often stereotype women, believing that females don’t get the same primal sexual urges that men do. Newsflash! Women also experience sudden bursts of sexual desire and feel no shame about acting on them. Getting her to open up about a wild make out fling not only gives her a chance to brag, but it’s the perfect opportunity to let her know that you wouldn’t mind if she “made out” with you.
If you could see any part of a man’s body first, which part would it be? Try and encourage her to name something other than the standard answers that include his eyes. Encourage her to pick any part of his anatomy. Have fun discussing why she chose this particular part of a man’s body and why this turns her on.
What is your “secret” move to turn a guy on? Be sure to make her describe this move in detail and ask suggestive questions about it yourself. The more she talks about preforming a specific s*xual act, the more aroused she is likely to become.
Where is the one place on your body that always gets you in the mood? Not only will this question let you know her sexual preferences, it will also cause her to visualize them. As she is describing her stimulating zone, chances are she is also thinking about it. This question helps to get her aroused and can also improve your technique with her in the bedroom.
Do you get aroused from receiving a massage? Some women find it easy to become s*xually aroused during a massage and others find it extremely difficult. However she feels about this, you can help her become aroused just by describing how a massage given by you will feel.
Do you want me to kiss you? Any questions involving kissing almost always have a woman picturing physical intimacy with her partner. By having her describe some of your more passionate kisses, she can visualize the romantic encounter between you and become aroused hoping that it happens again.
Do you enjoy oral s*x? No matter what answer she gives, you already have her thinking about sexual intercourse.
Would I look better with body hair, or completely shaved? While this question will not garner a lot of discussion, it will have her picturing you naked and aroused.
What can I do to help you become aroused? This question will make her appreciate much more, and is also good way for you to learn what she truly enjoys, and what stimulates her s*xual desire.
Are these questions arousing you? If the questions haven’t gotten her wet, then this is the perfect opportunity for you to begin describing everything sexual you would like to do to her. Once she has this visual in her head, she is sure to become s*xually stimulated.
Can I kiss you now?
Would you like me to touch you now? By the time you ask her these last two questions, hopefully she’ll feel s*xually aroused, and is waiting for you to satisfy her to the best of your ability.
Christianity EtcZaria Massacre: Shiites Release Own Video, Say Attack By Military 'planed' by rappeddy(op):
The Shi’ite group, led by Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, has stated that the December 12 and 13 attack on its members by soldiers of the Nigerian Army was deliberate and planned.
More than 300 members of the sect are believed to have been killed in the Zaria attack, which the army initially described as an assassination attempt on the Chief of Army Staff, Turkur Buratai, a General.
The military later released an edited video showing a group of angry youth with sticks and cutlasses arguing with some army brass over the right of way for the convoy of Mr Buratai.
Human Right Watch described the killing as a “terrible carnage” and “unjustifiable”.
Daniel Bekele, the African director of Human Rights Watch said: “The Nigerian military’s version of events does not stack up”.
The whereabout of the sect’s leader, Mr. Zakzaky, who was reportedly shot four times during the attack, is still unknown.
The Kaduna State government said it would set up a judicial panel of inquiry to investigate the killing.
In an apparent move to counter the military’s narrative, the Shi’ite group posted a video on YouTube, purportedly showing the attack.
The narrator of the 22:36-minute edited video, which is delivered in Hausa but subtitled in English, said the attack on the sect was unprovoked.
He said the sect members were preparing for the change of the Maulud flag when they saw soldiers stationing themselves near a NNPC filling station directly opposite the sect’s enclave, Husainiyya, and dropping boxes of ammunition.
The narrator explained that the military lied when it claimed that Mr. Buratai’s convoy was denied the right of way. He said in the past, soldiers and military convoys passed through their processions and gatherings unhindered.
He said the sect only approached Mr. Buratai’s convoy to tell the soldiers to move further away with their weapon to avoid an occurrence of the 2014 incident where a traffic argument with a group of soldiers led to the killing of 34 members of the sect, among them three sons of Mr Zakzaky.
“We asked them to move forward with their weapons due to the 2014 incident where 34 members were killed,” the narrator said.
The narrator claimed instead soldiers spread themselves out around the nearby polo ground encircling the Husainiyya as if in a war front. The narrator alleged that it was at the point of trying to placate the soldiers that the soldiers started firing on them.
PREMIUM TIMES could not independently verify the footage which was apparently shot with a mobile phone, but soldiers with assault rifles could be clearly seen encircling the Husainiyya and taking shooting positions.
Sounds of intermittent gunfire could be heard as the sect members laid on their stomachs and other hid behind trees to avoid being hit by bullets. Some of the youth could be heard screaming Allahu Akbar, Arabic for God is great.
The narrator explained that the Shi’ite members ran to the Husainiyya for refuge from bullets.
The footage later showed soldiers dragging the bodies of those shot into a truck. The narrator claimed the soldiers took the bodies away.
The footage later switched to an audio clip of a telephone interview in Hausa purportedly on Radio Iran between a broadcaster and a man who claimed to be among the soldiers who took part in the operation on the day.
The radio station said they would not reveal the name of the soldier for security reasons.
The caller, who claimed to have shot over 500 bullet in the air during the operation, said the army lied by blaming the clash on argument over right of way. His statement was subtitled in near broken English:
“I’m among those who carried out the operation. I want to lay an introduction before I say what I want to say. What I know, every army is using the rule of engagement. I want to correct what somebody has said this is why I want to comment.
“Like what the Emir of Kano said that Nigeria was established on ahul sunna wal jama’a, is that not? We army defend Nigeria and in Nigeria there are Izala, Shi’a and Christians, in the Nigerian Army, to say the fact. And what is happening, our leaders are disgracing us by saying our leader was denied a road. It is not that it may cause to underrate our security.
“It can’t be possible even for the Emir of Zazzau (another name for Zaria) to follow a road without knowing what is happening on the road talk less of our leader in General to have… This is not true. Our stand is more than that.
“As he himself, as Malam voice was heard saying there are some of us chanting: “Ya Husain Ya Husain” I’m one of them.
“The fact about this is that it was a plan. Planned since.
“If I die Allah will charge. Neither Buhari nor Buratai will protect me. It is Allah that will charge me on what I have accounted. And remaining on what we have done. I’m seeking the forgiveness of Allah. As a matter of fact, this work is do or die. Because of that by the time we came an order was given, then an order was given that everybody should go out. The fact Allah is my witness. I shot in the air. I shot nobody. Allah is my witness, no Shi’ite blood on me,” he said.
When asked by the broadcaster if there are other soldiers like him who do not agree with what the army said happened in Zaria, the man responded in the affirmative.
“What has encouraged me was that there was somebody at Farfaru who wrote on Facebook. It is not only me. I myself I know I shot nobody. 500 bullets in the air, Allah is my witness. I shot nobody. And the weapons that were used, the fact that we have been in Maiduguri, we have been there the weapons have not been used in Maiduguri. What I’m saying is if you come to a place as said by the emir of Kano, there is a time for whip there is time for teargas, there is time for bullet and there is time for bomb. We seek people’s forgiveness especially me,” he said.
The video subsequently showed soldiers matching beside an armoured vehicle and spreading out in military formations around the Husainiyya. Many of them were seen lying flat on their stomach with their guns pointed toward the Hussainiyya.
The video also showed some youth inside the Hussainiyya hiding behind the pillar of the fence while voices were here screaming Allahu Akbar.
The entire area was deserted. No civilian could be seen inside or around a NNPC filling station opposite the Husainiyya. Motorcycles laid abandoned on the roadside.
On the orders of a man that appeared like a senior military officer, some soldiers went down on one knee while others laid on their stomach assuming shooting positions.
The soldiers surrounded the area in a manner that suggested they didn’t want any of those hiding inside the Hussainiyya to leave.
