A father of 2, 58 year old Danish man was arrested in South Africa after pieces of female Instruments were found in a freezer in his home. Police spokesman, Hangwani Mulaudzi said that 21 pieces of women’s Instruments were found stored in plastic bags in a freezer. Police also discovered anaesthetic and other surgical implements in his home.

Mulaudzi said: “We are not sure how many victims there are; we are in the process of tracing them’


The spokesman said police were alerted by one of the man’s victims. The man was arrested on Thursday in the city of Bloemfontein in the central Free State province. They are asking women who have been assaulted by the man to come forward.

Mulaudzi couldn’t identify the man’s motive. It is not known if the body parts are from 21 different women. It is not known how the man committed the assaults or if the women are dead or alive.

The Danish citizen owns a gun shop in the city of Bloemfontein in the central Free State province, reported Volksblad, a local Afrikaans language newspaper.

The presidency has released a statement signed by Garba Shehu, the Senior special assistant to president Buhari on media and publicity, giving details of the assets of President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, as declared to the Code of Conduct Bureau.

The statement reads:

“Documents submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), show that the retired General has indeed been living an austere and Spartan lifestyle, contrary to what many might expect of a former Head of State of Nigeria and one who has held a number of top government positions, such as governor, Minister of petroleum and the head of the Petroleum Development Trust Fund (PTDF).

“The documents submitted to the CCB, which officials say are still being vetted and will soon be made public, show that prior to being sworn in on May 29, President Buhari had less than N30 million to his name. He also had only one bank account, with the Union Bank. President Buhari had no foreign account, no factory and no enterprises.

“He also had no registered company and no oil wells.

“The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) who had been a successful lawyer before his foray into politics declared a bank balance of about N94 million and 900,000 United States Dollars in his bank accounts.

“President Buhari declared however that he had shares in Berger Paints, Union Bank and Skye Bank.

“This is entirely unlike what one might expect from a former head of state of a country like Nigeria.

“The documents also revealed that President Buhari had a total of five homes, and two mud houses in Daura. He had two homes in Kaduna, one each in Kano, Daura and in Abuja. One of the mud houses in Daura was inherited from his late older sister, another from his late father. He borrowed money from the old Barclays Bank to build two of his homes.

“President Buhari also has two undeveloped plots of land, one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt. He is still trying to trace the location of the Port Harcourt land.

“In addition to the homes in Daura, he has farms, an orchard and a ranch. The total number of his holdings in the farm include 270 heads of cattle, 25 sheep, five horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees.

“The documents also showed that the retired General uses a number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings and the others supplied to him by the federal government in his capacity as former Head of State. The rest were donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in July 2014.

“As revealed by the same forms, highlights of the Vice-President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s asset declaration include his 4-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City, Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at 2 Mosley Road, Ikoyi. The Vice President also has a 2-bedroom flat at the popular Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a 2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England. Aside from these, the Vice President has no other landed properties on the form.
“Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd., Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd. and MTN Nigeria.

“According to details shown on the form, the Vice-President has about ninety four million naira, nine hundred thousand US dollars and nineteen thousand pounds in Nigerian Banks with the foreign currencies kept in local domiciliary accounts. His personal vehicles are one Infinity 4-Wheel Drive SUV, one Mercedes Benz and a Prado Jeep.

“As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the documents will be released to the Nigerian public and people can see for themselves.”

There are reports of twin bomb explosions in Damaturu, Yobe state capital this morning. The twin blasts are said to have occurred in two different locations.

At least six have been confirmed dead and over a dozen more injured. Those injured are said to have been rushed to the Damaturu specialist hospital for treatment.

The entire residents of Egwudunagu, Amachi community in Abakaliki Local Council of Ebonyi State have been stricken with shock and grief over the news that a 40-year-old man, one Alex Nwabu, had allegedly raped to death a 34-year-old widow, Mrs. Ogodo Egede.

Nwabu, who reportedly committed the act in the deceased’s house in the night, was said to have been having a constant affair with the widow.

Family sources hinted that although the suspect had engaged on the practice repeatedly, he threatened to kill the deceased if she dared disclose it to anybody. The source disclosed that Ogodo had been working as an artisan to cater for her four children.

It was gathered that she was seen with bruises all over her motionless body following the incident. However, the Ebonyi State Police Command has not confirmed the incident.

The Port Harcourt Distribution Electric Company (PHEDC) which is in charge of electricity for Cross River state, Akwa Ibom state, Bayelsa state, and Rivers state, have embarked on an indefinite strike with Cross River starting yesterday August 18th, and Rivers starting today August 19th.

The effect of this strike means complete black out for as long as the strike is in effect since all their offices have been shutdown indefinitely.

A correspondent from WATCHDOGNEWS contacted a PHEDC Official in Rivers State called Mr Abiye via telephone.

Mr Abiye confirmed the strike started today and is for an unknown period of time. When asked the reason for the strike, he said that “PHEDC had disengaged a large number of staffs in a short while with no valid reason. He said that Staffs of a department were asked to report to the Zonal office at Moscow road in Port harcourt, they were then handed letters terminating their employments without any form of compensation.”

Speaking further, Mr Abiye said that ever since PHEDC took over, all unions were dissolved and no employees have no where to turn to with the only available option being strike. When asked if he didn’t think that shutting down all offices resulting to a black out was extreme, he said “you people should put yourselves in our shoes”.

We hope that the issue is resolved as soon as possible because of the gruelling effect it will have on the general public.

The marriage of an Indian woman, Jessica Haye, 38, to Jesus Christ, the son of God in the town of Fort Wayne, United States of America on Saturday attracted people in their hundreds.

The 38-year-old Haye became a consecrated virgin after the ceremony. Consecrated virgins are similar to nuns but do not live in convents and are not saddled with any responsibility by the Catholic Church.

Hayes who is a theology teacher at Bishop Dwenger High School in Fort Wayne, said she opted to become a consecrated virgin after praying for years and doing some soul-searching.

The 38-year-old stressed that she will continue her normal life at home, though she will not be able to marry or have sex for the rest of her life. “My students asked if they should call me Mrs. Hayes when I come back to school next week, and no, I’m still Ms. But I am married to Jesus.” “As a consecrated virgin, Hayes may not have ‘knowing and deliberately’ engaged in sexual relations in the past.

“I think that in some sense, we’re all called to be married. It’s just a matter of discerning how. So, my marriage is to Christ and someone else’s marriage is to their spouse,” she said.

The matrimony which was conducted by Bishop Kevin C. Rhoades at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception said, ‘It seems most appropriate that Jessica gives herself totally to Jesus, is consecrated to a life of virginity.’

While reacting to the large number of people who turned out for the event despite been a stranger, Haye said they turned up because they were ‘interested’ and she was pleased with the turnout.

“Now that I’ve made a public commitment, that’s really an encouragement to me to live up to that because people know that this is who I am and my life needs to be lived in conformity with that,’ she explained. “So, it’s one more step in that direction that others expect this way of life from me and I need to live consistently in my words and actions that love for Jesus. “I’m so happy to have had so many witnesses at the wedding because there may be others that the Lord is calling in this way that have now heard of this life and can consider it in their prayer.’

The petition was brought before the tribunal by Governorship aspirant Mr Charles Harry of the All Progressives Grand Alliance to nullify Wike’s victory on the grounds that the election was not only fraught with irregularities, but was conducted with total disregard to relevant provisions of the Electoral Act.

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians abroad to stay where they are especially if they have something doing because of the current challenge of unemployment that the country is battling.

Buhari said this at a meeting with members of the Nigerian community in Benin Republic on Saturday evening.

Reacting to a question on what his administration was doing to facilitate their return home, Buhari told them to stay put because he would not want them to add to the problem of unemployment.

He said: “I believe a lot of you are doing well and are better of here. So, the question of facilitating you to come home does not arise.

“We don’t want you to come back home and be unemployed. Don’t come and add to our problems. If you have something doing here please, continue doing it.”

Buhari further appealed to the citizens to remain law-abiding in their host country.

He lamented situations in South Africa where Nigerians had been caught in activities that were damaging to the image of their fatherland.

“I have always told the Nigerian communities to respect their hosts’ culture and obey their laws.

“Some of them are in prison for committing a number of crimes. But for you who are so close home, you should do your best to be good ambassadors of the country”, Buhari said.

President Buhari promised a new era. He apologized for his past mistakes and swore that he was a changed man. He promised fairness and a just political system. He either lied or is being used as a puppet. Either ways, it does not bode well for the new government.

In the past seven days, the SSS has embarked on a dangerous series of arrests under the all-encompassing guise of national security. First on the list was the former NSA chairman whose homes were invaded and raided and passport seized. Next, was the ex-CSO to the former president, who was detained without charge and held for over 96 hours without access to his family, lawyers—and perhaps most distressingly—his medication. And then came Monday. On 21 July, 2015, the SSS invited Gesila Khan, the INEC REC for Rivers State, for a talk—a talk that has now gone on for over 48 hours. No one knows exactly where Gesila Khan is. There are whispers that she is currently sharing a dungeon somewhere in the SSS building—shocking, worrying, but sadly quite possibly true.

The irony of all this is that anyone could have seen this coming. In the last two months, the president Buhari has done a lot to explain his recent delay in appointing his cabinet, insisting that his slow dance is because he is trying to ensure that he has the right people in the right place. “They now call me Baba Go Slow. I am Baba slow and steady,” he recently joked during a visit to the U.S If this is indeed the reason, then his choice of Lawal Musa Daura as the acting head of the DSS is an odd one.

Mrs. Gesila Khan, the Rivers State Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) has been missing for 24 hours. Friends and colleagues strongly suspect that she is currently being held against her will by the DSS. Reports reaching Watchdog News indicate that the commissioner was invited for an interview by the DSS yesterday but never left. Instead, it appears like the SS has summarily detained her without notice.

If true, the commissioner’s arrest is likely to be in relation with the conduct of the Rivers State Presidential and Gubernatorial elections. Attempts to reach the DSS to ascertain the status of the commissioner, or get a clarification for the charges have been unsuccessful. The commissioner’s suspected arrest will also follows a series of arrests and surprise raids conducted by the DSS over the last seven days, which have led to several notable persons including the former NSA chairman and ex-CSO to former president Jonathan being detained. It is unclear whether President Buhari, who is currently in the US, ordered her arrest.

Last Friday saw the suppose defection of some PDP stalwarts from the PDP to the APC in Bayelsa State. While this may not ordinarily elicit a response, as the propensity for such is quite normal given the season we are going into (Bayelsa’s forth coming gubernatorial elections is scheduled for Dec 5 2015), it is important to set the record straight: to review the situation holistically with a view to putting the facts out there to the public.

Napoleon Bonaparte once famously said, “In politics, stupidity is not a handicap.” Ignorance on the other hand most certainly is. Describing the recent defection as a tragedy would be doing the PDP a grave disservice. It is on record that when the incumbent Governor of Bayelsa state, Governor Seriake Dickson was campaigning for the governorship of the state in 2011, that none of the principal actors in this tale of defections like Warman Ogoriba, Chief Sonme Ogilogi, Chief Tom Egba and others who defected last week Friday, ever really worked or campaigned for governor Dickson.

They were not allies and were certainly not supporters. Instead, they were associates, and appointees of the Ex-Governor. They were floaters. Office fillers. The equivalent of political driftwood: essentially non-essential. That they somehow still found themselves in positions of trust, speaks more of the magnanimity of the governor than it does their political influence, sagacity, or standing.

So what does the latest gale of defection mean for the governor? Absolutely nothing. Granted, announcements of defections are rarely welcomed with cheer, however the latest events make a notable exception. Very few people in the ruling party are likely to miss them, seeing as they have always worked in conflict with the interest of the PDP and Governor Seriake Dickson. Their presence in PDP up until now was to keep it divided. Their departure could best be described as good riddance of bad rubbish. Look at it this way—no one mourns the sudden loss of a cancerous growth.

Rapper Lil Wayne was kicked off a private jet he chartered minutes after takeoff, because he lit up a joint almost immediately after wheels up. TMZ reports.

We're told Wayne told the pilot before takeoff at a Ft. Lauderdale airport, he and his entourage wanted to smoke during the flight. The pilot could not have been clearer ... absolutely not. But shortly after takeoff, Wanye and his posse lit up, and the pilot was in no mood to negotiate. The captain turned the plane around 17 minutes after takeoff and landed it where it came from.

It looks like Wayne brought his own beverages, because we got this photo in which he's holding a double cup. We're told it contained pink/purple liquid, consistent with sizzurp.

Wayne has had problems with sipping sizzurp on private jets in the past. TMZ broke the story he suffered some pretty wicked seizures from the codeine drink back in 2013.

Contrary to reports that have been making rounds on the internet alleging that the former CSO to Ex-President Jonathan, Gordon Obua had died in DSS custody, the cable has debunked the reports claiming that he was only hospitalized and has since been discharged.

Gordon Obua, the former chief security officer (CSO) to former President Goodluck Jonathan, is now in a “stable condition” after falling ill on Monday.

Obua, who has been detained by the DSS also known as SSS in Abuja since the night of July 16, had embarked on hunger strike to protest the conditions of his detention.

He was denied access to outsiders, including his doctor, lawyer and family members and his lawyer claimed on Sunday that Obua was also denied his medications for hypertension and diabetes. The effect of the hunger strike took its toll on the detainee on Monday and he fainted, according to an SSS source, leading to speculations that Obua had died.

Gordon Obuah, the ex-CSO to President Jonathan, who was arrested by the SSS on the authorization of President Buhari is dead, the Trent Newspapwer is reporting. The former CSO, who was arrested on the 16th of June, is said to have passed away on the 20th.

If the reports are true, the death is sure to draw a lot of alarm from the rest of the country and increase the public focus on Buhari’s ruthless years as military president. Unconfirmed reports suggest that during his period in custody, Obua was held in an underground dungeon and denied access to his family, doctors, and lawyers, despite there being no clear charges for his arrest. The DSS is yet to confirm or deny the allegation.

In a personal direct message to President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has said that it would not get involved in distracting or detracting him from delivering good governance to the Nigerian people.

The party said its resolve not to “distract” the president, has informed its restrained position on a number of issues that ordinarily it would have made comments on.
