I’ll provide 5 covers each day for us to redesign and recreate exactly how it is.

So you watch the cover and design it exactly the way it is.

Same thing for day 1 and 2.

Then send it here for criticism and correction.

This way, we can collectively see how to get it right, mistakes, corrections and improve better.

This is worth reading for publishers about book covers.

Good morning bosses.

You know I always lay emphasis on attractive book covers cos I know the power your covers can pull.

Think of your cover like the time you want to watch a Netflix movie with no specific movie in mind.

Just sign in to Netflix and search by scrolling to see the movie that’ll interest you to watch.

What is that thing that triggers you to watch that movie you chose?

A cover must have 3 basic ingredients.

Proper colour usage and placement

Proper use of images, proportion and storytelling

Creativity and finishing

These 3 things determines whether people will click or not click your cover and by now you should know that the process of making sales starts with your book cover attracting the potential buyer.

If your cover doesn’t attract them, they won’t click it and if they don’t click it your dashboard will always read $0.00 and it’s very painful 😣.

The earlier you understand the power of a great cover, the faster your success on KDP.

If you don’t know how to design great covers, take the pain and outsource it to a professional graphic designer.

You don’t have to do it all if you don’t have the expertise.

It’s not a must that it must be you that will do the design. If a graphic designer will do it better, pay them.

There are graphic designers that charge as low as 1,000 - 2,000 Naira for a design and they’ll deliver excellent.

Please don’t joke with your book cover designs. It is a major determinant of your sales ✅
