PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are Fattening Amupitan’s Bank Accounts - Kperogi by ratcock: 9:04am On Apr 13
DIVINEEVIDENCE:
Those who sent the N10 are not complaining and don't care whether it aggregates to 100 billion in his account.

They are only interested in passing their message across and if the weyrey professor thinks he just struck gold by this development, he should ask Judas Iscariot how far.
Laugh wont kill me die 😂😂
You are brutal

The so called Inec chairman brought whatever he is experiencing upon himself when he gave away his partisan affiliation.
PoliticsRe: Opposition Smearing INEC Chairman Out Of Desperation — Ajulo Declares Tinubu’s V by ratcock: 5:31pm On Apr 12

Ajulo argued that the opposition has abandoned genuine political engagement and has instead resorted to “the politics of discredit,” targeting the electoral umpire in a bid to undermine public confidence.

If the Inec chairman did not give away his partisan affiliation, will anyone have the time to drag him.

The Ajulo of a character should advise the Inec chairman to refrain from acts capable of undermining the integrity of the commission.

Is Kenya an oil producing country?
Is there any refinery in Kenya?
His handlers should try convincing him to speak with a teleprompter.

PoliticsRe: INEC: We Can’t Have One-party System In Nigeria – ADC Dares Tinubu by ratcock:
Tinubu is a nuisance in this democracy.
The earlier he is driven out of office, the better for the nation.
He should better ask those who went down this road how it ended disastrously

PoliticsRe: CORRUPTOMETER: Between Tinubu, Peter Obi, & Atiku: Who Is Most Corrupt by ratcock: 4:33pm On Mar 25
Omoboricash:
Among the three you mentioned, it was only Obi that his name was mentioned i. Pandora paper. He was only one that paid 250 million naira cash to contractor.

Atiku boss described the kind of person Atiku is during his tenure as vice president .

He Atiku also agreed and apologised to nigeria for selling nigeria assest as peanut

Tinubu was allegedly pocketed Lagos, nobody has ever proof this. During campaign in 2023, he said in one of his campaign that he collected or bidded for contract under federal government, can we say the same of Atiku. Atiku was running Onne port thru Intel. The evidence was there. You can fact check me.
From your post i could deduce that you are an ignorant new recruit.

PoliticsRe: Of What Benefit Is President Tinubu's UK Trip To The Average Nigerian? by ratcock: 12:26pm On Mar 21
givedemwotowoto:
Tinubu’s trip benefited U.K. a lot. No benefit to Nigerians. We wasted billions for a red carpet reception.

First, we spent billions of naira to lobby for it which benefited U.K lobbyists.

Then we spent more billions for prepping for the trip, which benefited UK based event management companies, hotels, restaurants, and luxury car rental companies.

The deal we “supposedly” secured will benefit U.K. contractors, construction companies, suppliers, engineers, and the U.K. government in general.
PoliticsRe: Dangote Refinery Imported $3.74 Billion Crude Oil In 2025 – CBN by ratcock: 2:14pm On Mar 19
I recall in the 2000’s Dangote established a petroleum exploration company. Assuming back then he invested heavily into oil exploration, he won’t be having issues with importing crude oil.

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Wants To Bring Back Subsidy...nigerians Should Not Let Him Do So. by ratcock: 9:55am On Mar 14
This one has never preferred solutions on how the resources of this country would benefit the citizens.
The only thing you hear from this character is how to further impoverish the citizens.

nairalanda1:
Yeah, I'm sure that most of the Marxists on this site who believe in cheap stuff would criticize me

But if a fuel subsidy is brought back at this time, it would amount to using tomorrow's money to pay for today's problem. And tomorrow's money would be replaced by a loan, which would generate more debt , which would create more problems...which means more loans.

Nigeria has had a history of using subsides to avoid creating a proper welfare net, because doing that would mean changing our economic paradigm from resource dependency to industrialization...and fighting corruption. It also means taxing more of the gdp...heavily

At the end of the day, however, years of doing the above have led to a lot of debt and put us in a large mess, and have encouraged the corruption that is messing up our economy

It's time we dropped sloganeering from both the oppisiton and the government, and faced the fact that if we want a working economy, we have to let it make a profit.

If we want consumption subsides now, then the government should tax everyone at 40% rates to pay for the subsidy. No ifsand buts.

If consumption subsides worked, wewould have been a developed nation by 2022. As we are not....

Ye are free to criticise me, but this is my opinion. I have held it since 2012, when I woke up to how I had been supporting the destruction of my country's economy by supporting subsides. And calling me a...g..bad..o would not change the facts.

PoliticsRe: 12 APC Senators, Who Are Lining Up For The Governor's Seat In Their States by ratcock: 8:29am On Mar 05
The one person on this list who is not nursing any governorship ambition is the deputy senate president.
The reason is because of the defection of gov Abba to the Apc.
As for Ahmed Lawan, he will still make a u-turn to the senate. This is a man who has spent half of his life in the Nass.

Stop comparing America and Nigeria. Even the budget of states like Maryland is bigger than our federal budget. At the end of the day, Nigerian politicians will still loot the money once the fund is released!
