What if your data isn't enabled? Then you just need to hard reset your phone as mentioned above? No, you still have an option to reset the pattern without loosing data. I've given a way(in fact two methods) to reset the passcode without loosing any data. And also, for future safety, always enable debugging settings on your phone before you encounter such issues.
