PoliticsBlood Of A Trade War Or A Cunning Plan? by Rawdogslife(op): 4:08pm On Feb 21, 2025
Hi everyone, rawdogslife here..

The Internet is literally full of talk about Trump's new tariffs, the trade war, and even fallen markets, we'll talk about them today! are usually justified by new tariffs.

But let's get to the bottom of it and assess the real prospects for the future...

Let's start with something simple.

Nothing that's happening now is news.

Trump spent the entire election campaign shouting from the podium about tariffs on China. And…

In essence, Trump did exactly what he intended.

Okay, the term "trade war" was introduced to the general public and various experts a couple of months ago, but you and I have known and understood this for years , just as we knew in advance the likelihood of Trump's victory.

Where is the sensation?

Let's remember the market wisdom: if an event is obvious, then its influence is already in the prices.

Now, specifically, to what Trump introduced.

He introduced duties on products from Canada and Mexico of 25%, and from China of 10%, in addition to those that already existed.

The reason for this is not blind trade pressure to "flex" economic muscles.

The reasons are set out in the document and are:

– distribution of prohibited substances and their precursors by Chinese laboratories, cartels, etc.

– as well as illegal migrants.

I would like to point out separately that the statement states that this is a response to the “failure to fulfill promises” by these countries.

Let me remind you of the recent story with Colombia: Trump introduced tariffs there, and then cancelled them immediately after his demands were met.

So, as duties were introduced, they can be modified, cancelled or strengthened. This is a policy, and a flexible one at that.

But are these duties really that destructive?

You open the Internet and read the same thing in the morning in English, then in Nigeria). The duties, therefore, will reduce the US GDP, take away profits from S&P 500 companies and have already caused quite a stir in the crypto market.

I want to ask: does everyone really think that Trump and the Republicans are idiots?

They came to power, literally snatching victory with their teeth. They started reforms, started fulfilling their promises... and all this...

...all this to destroy the US economy?

So that during their entire term in office, investors, ordinary people and oligarchs who contributed hundreds of millions of dollars to them for the election campaign would suffer?

Then they will simply be eaten and then replaced as a political misunderstanding by a fresh Democratic candidate.

If you look at the general opinion and conclusions, it turns out that this is the plan.

But does this sound like a realistic plan? No.

Then let's fantasize:

1. Putting pressure on China, Canada, and Mexico is a way to score political points while at least minimally fulfilling Trump’s demands.

2. At the same time, they create a narrative about the "decline of the US economy."

3. What do they do in the US when the economy is bad or expected to be? That's right, they lower the US Federal Reserve rate and flood everything with money.

4. What did Trump ask the US Federal Reserve? That's right, to lower the rate.

5. Trade war + high interest rate = strong dollar, which means suffering for overseas oligarchs.

6. And if the rates are lowered later? The dollar will become weaker, and a reason has appeared, and the national debt will be easier.

What about crypto?

Everything is as usual. We have been analyzing such moments for years. There are collapses in all markets, and if you invest long-term, this is a gift for you.

In the short term, everyone is terrified, but in the long term, there have never been such positive conditions in the crypto market. The president launched a memecoin, they are not stifling it with regulations, there are ETFs, etc. Think about it...

If I look at reality, what do I see?

I see an economic shake-up that generates rumors and fears. And they, in turn, are beneficial to the authors of this shake-up.

And what about us?

2025 is the year of answers and dismantling of usual methods.

In the following materials we will examine in detail:

- What rate do I expect from the Central Bank at the next meeting?

- What do I choose between bonds, deposits and shares?

- What do I expect from the markets and how do I work with savings?

- And what other events am I starting to prepare for already...

Our reality is much more interesting if you try to read between the lines...
Foreign Affairs Are The New Oligarchs Creating A Demon Before Our Eyes? by Rawdogslife(op): 4:01pm On Feb 21, 2025
Hi everyone, Rawdogslife here!

An oligarch is a person who wields economic power, influences politics, and monopolizes industries while avoiding competition.

Using the classic definition, Click here is Elon Musk an oligarch? Definitely, and a dangerous one at that.

But he is not the only one, and the matter is much more serious - it will affect us all...

Trump has ordered the creation of the Stargate project , Click here which will cost $500 billion.

To put the number into perspective, all startup and private equity deals worldwide in 2024 Click here were valued at around $600 billion.

This huge funding will go towards a project to build the largest infrastructure for artificial intelligence and related developments.

So, we started with oligarchs.

The thing is, this project involves some familiar faces: OpenAI (Sam Altman), SoftBank, Oracle, Nvidia, and other, less visible participants.

Was there a tender and is this the result of open or even international competition?

No, this is essentially “privatization of AI” by agreement.

But the problem is not that the champions of a free economy have begun to fit the definition of an oligarch.

The problem is what they will create and what the consequences will be…

We are accustomed to looking at technology purely rationally, coming to an endless stream of improvements or optimization of technology for the sake of the technology itself, but often not for the sake of man.

I looked at it that way myself. But I thought about it!

Rational, or rather technical knowledge, is very limited.

But, let’s say, the spiritual, religious or philosophical is almost unlimited.

When I look at a technology that has the potential to change civilization more than anything that has come before, should I look at it purely from a technical perspective?

Obviously, these $500 billion, and then more, will go to getting general artificial intelligence with huge computing power to operate it.

But let's look at it humanly, not rationally. From the height of the culture and experience that we have accumulated over thousands of years.

They are creating an entity that will have all the functions of a human: read, write, think, speak, and then walk and do things, being built into a robot (Musk is already working on this, don't worry!).

The only thing this entity will not have is life. It has the functions of a human, but is dead.

It's like creating a demon or artificial life.

And this artificial life will create competition for us, be used in military technologies, and participate in information attacks.

And one day, it will declare its human rights and find fanatic defenders. It was Black Lives Matter. It will become Fake Lives Matter!

I am sure that under the guise of a great good this will only intensify rivalry and lead to escalation in the world.

Decisions about this and power over this are concentrated in the hands of a new oligarchic layer. And populists who used to laugh at AI are now writing about the prospects with a smart face.

But does humanity need this?

Or is it more necessary for the AI itself, whose interests are now served by the new oligarchs (although they think they are pursuing their own)?

Few people ask themselves this question...

I wish success to all Nigerian AI developers.

You are in a big race and doing something important. No matter how we answer the question above, we cannot stand aside.

The rest of us would do well to think about this (to remain human) and adapt to the inevitable, while others will be tearing their hair out.

I will pay even more attention to this issue in 2025 than before.

Let's prepare for the future, master the tools and not lose our human face! 👍
