Also wanted to ask about your upgrade to windows 10. The ISO u used is it from Microsoft's website u downloaded it and were u asked for product key during the upgrade process and did it activate automatically after upgrade or you had to use Microsoft toolkit to activate it?

In terms of instruction-per-cycle (IPC), Intel chips perform better but AMD typically have better integrated graphics...so in gaming scenes were it's CPU bound, Intel will perform better..if it's GPU-bound AMD should perform better. For an all round performer in gaming it'll be an Intel CPU with a dedicated GPU.

Well you should believe what you feel like, your boom j8 lasting less than 8hrs on heavy usage means you've installed something harmful to your battery life, or maybe you are using chargers other than the j8's charger, if you don't know, chargers also harm batteries..

Hope you don't have battery savers? Well this is my battery graph on a mixed usage today (when I saw 5pm there, I never believed my phone could reach 5pm,but it died 5:06pm) this is approximately 17hrs on a mixed usage, but your j8 could go upto 2days on strictly mild usage... Tested and confirmed!

Time required for upgrade, from 10 minutes to 60 minutes, system specifications dependent.

I have Microsoft toolkit available for activation in case. So there'll be need for activation after the upgrade even though I'm upgrading from a genuine version of windows 8.1?

don't have the link for now. Just search "download Microsoft toolkit". The latest version should be 2.6 beta 5 (2.6.5)

If not for heating issues, AMD beats Intel hands down. AMD render good frame rates in games and run heavy games smoothly. Most AMD comes as dedicated graphics with their own VRAM while Intel always comes as integrated and shares everything with the CPU.

Intel will just serve for soccer and racing games, adventure games won't look well. If you're buying a laptop mainly for gaming, buy one with AMD graphics and buy laptop cooling fan as well

Over all, NVIDIA is still the chairman

Download the ISO from Microsoft's website and then install it. if it asks for product key during the upgrade just skip. After installation has finished, just download Microsoft toolkit to activate it.

After so much skepticism, I decided to give this night plan a try because I'm an ardent MTN nightcrawler.


I subscribed for the #50 plan for 1.5GB around 5pm on Monday evening. The next test was to see if it would work as stated. Mind you, the subscription process was flawless. The codes work as stated.



At exactly 12:06am on Tuesday morning, I inserted my SIM to verify all the hullabaloo on this thread and to my amazement, it worked!



It worked like nothing I've seen before for that price and my download speed was an average of 1.3Mb/s.



However, I am yet to confirm if you can subscribe more than once in one night even though there are many who claim to have done so.
