Forgive me if the word "addict" sound offensive. I just could'nt find another word 2 use. Let me start first, i first knew of nairaland in 2008, when i was browsing online, But got no interest then. I got "addicted" 2 the site 3yrs letter. I was ill,bedriding and recovering when i in tune with it again. I think the fun, jokes, insults and e-fights got me out of bed quicker.

I will support nigeria, but the reality things ain't good. @ fhemmmy u really are confident. What would be yr reply if nigeria lose?

@ Bigchaz, u just took me back to secondary sch. They also stole my sandals, which was not a week old. Those times when u use your sandals to do goal post. I no even wast time. I stole another person sandals before break over.

Yeah, mine is similar. I was bearly 16yrs, I used to excort my sista or mum in the morning(around 5am) to the b/stop. because my area used to be isolated then. On this unfortunate day, I was excorting my mum(thinking it was bizness as usual), we were about reaching the b/stop when a bike with 3 guys stop beside us, one of them went straight for my mum, but I heat him on the jest without thinking. He was not expecting it because he thought my mum was on her own(has I was a few feet behind her).
The next thing, the 2 others came down from the bike. One of them coming to me with his hand under his tshirt saying he had a GUN(I did see something metal). O boy, I did not think twice before I pick race, with him at the back of my heels.
After runing some metres, I did not see him behind me. I did another four forty back to the location, and boy! I was glad to see my mother there but emtpy(no bag,no handset, no nothing). She was in shock. All throughout this period no SOUL! Was around.
She had never experinced such before. She did not go to work that day, she was not even herself for two days. I letter got to find out that it was not a gun but a KNIFE the guy was holding.
When I think of it now, I feel ashmed for being a coward and living my mum alone

I know is hard for u guys to believe. I can't explain it myself. But I to believe there are more others.

I happen to be vargin at 23yrs. I am ok with it though, but my frnds don't know this.(They will die of shock if they do). I did try to tell them indirectly, but they don't believe any guy my age can be a vargin. The genesis of this started when I was 15yrs. I don't know wetin my mama they fear when she call me and my siblings, and made us swear(with bible) that we don't disvargin ourselves until we get married.
