I think you confused rank with insignia. Also Russia doesn't have the same military ranks as NATO countries. For example Russia has a rank called "colonel general". That is what it is to be an indigenous military, not a foreign created military like the Nigerian military.

I checked it up,a colonel general is equivalent to Lt Gen in Nigeria

Even in Nigeria,you dont win by populated vote alot, you must win 25% of atleast 2/3rd of states(24 states)
The founding founders of US saw that a section of the country can impose their candidates on the rest of the country due to their majority so they decided to devolved that power n make sure each state is properly represented
Nonetheless, California has the highest electoral college (54) n you need 270 to win, thats a big head for democrats
