seunowa: Well no problem, when it happens to your children if you have any or any of your family members then you will know how painful it is. You are happy now because you think are scoring cheap political points. Until you are kidnapped on the road and never found for 59 days or never found at all. Then ur family will understand the pain of those whose husband was beheaded in the unfortunate happening. pls stop twisting what I wrote. I felt the pains of the victims kidnapped in Oyo. All I'm saying is that I felt a ransom was paid to the kidnappers and they were released. There was no rescue. So the govt can also pay ransom to the kidnappers in Kogi to release the victims. Pls stop twisting what I wrote. Kidnapping continue since the govt keep paying ransom without stopping the menace |

Was the subsidy benefitting the rich more than the poor, yes or no?Will the candidate you are supporting bring back subsidy or not? sir, you are already sentimental. Tinubu promised he won't borrow again after subsidy removal. Reverse is the case today. I don't have a candidate in mind but any one besides Tinubu is ok by me. Tinubu is a disaster. It is not about bringing back subsidy but why borrowing after the subsidy removal? You guys should stop supporting evil. Tinubu is a bad example of a leader |

Lithiumite: Its really an arduous task trying to comprehend your posts, but I will attempt to dignify you with a response........when fuel was 150 naira per liter, was there no economic hardship, were there no poor, hungry people......we still had people who couldn't afford school fees forbtheir kids or hospital bills, what has changed really.
You thought you were enjoying with subsidy but its has been proven over tine that was all a ruse,it was only benefiting the rich......govt was borrowing money in billions to be able to afford that subsidy, was it poor people that were collecting those subsidy payments or the rich oil marketers......the rich man with 4 to 5 cars will consume more petrol than the poor man that doesnt even have a bicycle or almost 1 car, when there is scarcity you would still buy same petrol expensively with both money and time.
Yes these roads are benefits of subsidy removal because when you remove subsidy, govt will have more monies for critical insfrastructure......show us 1 govt since gowon/ obj military govt that has taken on so man roads like tinubu.
On economic benefits, these roads are opening up economic corridors, an orange juice company can easily set up factory in benue with cheaper land, and labor knowing that their finished goods can easily get evacuated from their factories to the cities, these will create employment and development to those communities around there.....take obajana in kogi state, igbogila and ibeshe in ogun state, eleko in lekki lagos, establishment of industries in those places has greatly impacted those communities......eleko has one ofvthe fastest real estate development right now in Nigeria and this can be replicated across several states.
Other govts built roads but non was has determined as this......lagos to ph in 4 hr,to and fro same day, calabar to Abuja in 4 to 5hrs,sokoto to lagos in 6 hrs and you say you dont see progress that all you see is hunger, bro you had better use your brain to position yourself to benefit from the progress these insfrastructure renewal will bring. it was an arduous task reading yours too with numerous grammatical errors. However, I decided to stop reading your shenanigans when you mentioned that the previous govt borrowed to service loans. Your Tinubu, even after removing subsidy still borrows. I know you can't explain that. Go back and correct your errors, oga |

So Obi is speaking against Tinubu's infrastructure and that's the gaslighting? When has opposition become a crime? Tinubu was against Jonathan's removal of subsidy. Lithiumite: Calabar to abuja in 4 to 5 hrs is an incredibly wonderful achievement and will definitely spur economic development for the country.......calabar port will get busier and goods can then be easily evacuated to the north with this road.......nigrian central African trade will definitely improve bringing prosperity to the people......I don"t understand why a political party will choose condemning these visionary developmental projects as a political weapon........the earlier they realise nigerians love and want these roads the better. it is a good development. Let's pray it is completed with other highways mentioned in this article. However, if I may ask u some questions... Are u saying there is limited movement of goods and services prior to the construction of the highways? Can u beat your chest and say that construction of high ways is what will cushion the effect of subsidy removal in long term venture? Will construction of superhighways reduce the price of goods in the market with the increased fuel price? Will construction of superhighways reduce fuel price? Do you know the price of fuel determines the cost of goods in the market whether u have super highway or not. Yes! I know the shorter the journey, the lesser the transport fare but it will be insignificant. If the government is sincere to reduce cost of living, their should have been immediately construction of oil companies, and rehabilitating abandoned ones. But because they have private oil companies outside the country, they won't do that. U come online and support their shenanigans. Did the previous govt not construct roads? |

Honestly, Nigerians are easily manipulated. I know it is easy because of Tribalism, ethnicism and religion. Apart from Calabar - Lagos highway that won't be concluded, the other highways are audio. I don't care whatever Tinubu's supporters will say. I know the govt wants to justify the reason for subsidy removal. Why not invest the subsidy money in constructing more oil exploration companies, rehabilitate the abandoned oil companies. With this, oil would be cheap, employment opportunities and reduced crimes. Will superhighway and coastal highway reduce transportation fares? Will it reduces cost of goods in the market? |

Under Nigerian law, parties must secure at least 25 percent of the votes in a state during a presidential election or win at least one elective seat at the national, state, or local government level to maintain their registration. The court ruled that these parties performed poorly and failed to meet these benchmarks during the 2023 elections and subsequent by-elections. very funny man Do you even know why the high court wants inec to deregister NDC?
