The issue has degenerated to the extent that European universities has not defined another level of verification to the application as showed below.

Further to your application for the above programme we are writing to you with information about extra verification checks, that the University is now implementing when considering your application.

UK Visas and Immigration require us, as a licenced Student Route Visa sponsor, to make every attempt to ensure that we are only issuing offers to genuine students who wish to come to the UK and study on the programme applied for. We have recently been experiencing an increase in the number of applications with fraudulent or suspicious documentation from the region you have applied from and as such are now taking additional verification steps.

These steps will include, but are not limited to, verifying academic documents with the relevant Overseas University/ Institution (sending them copies of the documents provided to us); requiring scratch card details and PIN to verify English language documents and carrying out credibility interviews. As a result of these steps, it will take us longer than normal to process your application.

To proceed with your application, Please confirm within one week of this email if you wish us to continue processing your application and that you are happy for us to contact the relevant university/ institution(s) in order to verify your academic documents (this will give us permission to send them copies of the documents that you have provided).
