Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has ordered the audit of the accounts of the 23 Local Government Areas for the past three years.

Fubara gave the order to the Auditor General of the state on Wednesday while swearing in the Caretaker Committee Chairmen of the local councils at the Executive Council Chamber of the Government House in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

The governor said the audit of the accounts is intended to serve as a check for the incoming chairmen and make the local councils more accountable.

It is good to know when to fight, when to take cover, and when to run for your life. Grace wey don expire they turn to disgrace.

I am not against N60,000 for minimum wage IF all Nigeria politicians will be paid as civil servant. If these will not happen then N150 to N250 is acceptable for workers unless they have no conscience. How person with three children one take manage 60k for 30days. With transport, medicals, food, rent, school fees...etc how.

Want of jurisdiction simply means that the Judge is saying that the persons who filed shouldn't have and he doesn't have the powers to rule on anything associated therewith.

What the Judge was saying is that he had no authority to hear the case

Once a Court doesn't have any jurisdiction on any matter, any judgement no matter how beautifully written is null and void.
What it simply means is that, the Court made no pronouncement whatsoever on whether Amaewhule & Ors are members of the PDP or not.

1. Amadi & Ors did not show in their affidavit that they were either members of the RSHA, PDP or APC.

2. As Registered voters, they didn't show how the 'defection or otherwise' of the now 'famous 27' will affect them.

3. As Registered voters, they didn't show how the 'defection' will cause an injury to them, quite more than other registered voters in the state.
