Ghanaian football has been rocked by the death of former international Yakubu Abubakar at the age of 36.

The former Black Star, a defensive midfielder, died in a hospital in Ghana on Tuesday.

"We're sad to hear the death of former Ghana, Ajax and Vitesse midfielder Abubakar," tweeted Ghana's FA. "Our thoughts are with his family. May his soul RIP."

No reason has been given for the death of Abubakar, who won 16 caps for Ghana.

Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Tuesday ordered Senator Eyninnaya Abaribe, and two others standing as sureties for the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, to explain the IPOB leader’s whereabouts.

Kanu who was granted bail by the judge on April 24, 2017, was absent from court on Tuesday when his trial was billed to commence.
But his three co-defendants were produced in court by prison officials.
Kanu’s lawyer, Mr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, told the judge that Kanu had been missing after soldiers allegedly invaded the IPOB leader’s home‎ on September 14, 2017, adding that the Nigerian Army was in the best position to produce the defendant.
A lawyer, Mr. Ogechi Ogunna, appeared for Abaribe on Tuesday, informing the judge ‎that his client had filed a motion seeking to be discharged as Kanu’s surety.
‎The two other sureties, Immanuel Shalum Okabenmabu and Tochukwu Uchendu, were absent from court and not represented by any lawyer on Tuesday.
‎But Justice Nyako said Abaribe’s motion could not be heard until Kanu was produced in court.
The judge gave the senator three options.
One of the options was for Abaribe to produce the defendant in court and then apply to be discharged as a surety.
The other option the judge gave was for Abaribe to be ready to forfeit his N100m bail bond.
The third option ‎was for Abaribe to request to be given time to produce the defendant in court.
But Ogunna replied saying, “he (Abaribe) is not in a position to do any of these.”
However, the judge insisted tha‎t Abaribe must opt for one of the three options.
With the judge’s insistence, Ogunna opted to be given time to produce him.
The two other sureties were not represented I court on Tuesday.
Earlier, prosecuting counsel, Mr. Shuaibu Labaran, noting that Kanu was not present in court, urged the judge to revoke defendant’s bail, order for his arrest, and direct the defendants’ three sureties “to show cause why the bail bond of N100m entered into by each shall not be forfeited or they be committed to prison.”

The trial has been adjourned until November 20.

This blog is less than two months old, but it has an Alexa rank of 3,618,706 as at the time of writing this post. It wasn't built unconsciously and it's not actually the best.
I have a friend whose site reduced to 800,000 Alexa in less than three month of launching it. Two weeks ago, my own site was 12,000,000. I checked it and took the challenge of building it up, now it has greatly reduced, and I still have the target of taking it to less than 1,000,000.

No 1: Black Face and 2Face

In my honest and candid opinion about this beef, I would say that this is just some wannabe-star wanting to throw jabs at an already made superstar just so people would hear about him. The beef between Tuface and Blackface dates back over ten years since the duo separated from their defunct label "PLANTASHUN BOYS" which Blackface, Tuface and Faze were members. It started as a result of a song which Blackface co-wrote with Tuface in 2004, the international hit "African Queen". This song grew to be so popular and internationally known that it immediately launched Tuface into the limelight of the top 3 artistes from Africa at that time. Blackface who took it that he didn't get enough recognition for the song started making trouble and in the crossfires the group broke up with each going their own way. But since then Blackface didn't want to end things just yet. He continued blaming Tuface for his downfall in the music industry and claiming that all Tuface's hit songs were actually a product of his own hard work. It got to a point where Tuface threatened to sue him to court if he didn't offer public apologies to him, and as usual this threat was rebuffed by Blackface and the court threat died down for a while. Many other fellow colleagues in the music industry have tried to call on both of them especially Blackface to bury the hatchet, but all to no avail. It seems that Blackface would continue to hold grudges against Tuface and continue blasting him on whatever he does. It is left for time to tell though.
