I have been suffering in silence, I don't know what else to do,

Doctor said I have paranoid schizophrenia,
This illness has taken away happiness from me, taken away my peace of mind,
I have done everything from taking drugs to meeting a psychologist, I don't know what else to do,

This is a kind of fear that comes as a result of being afraid of spiritual things,

I have been depressed, sometimes I feel like ending it all, coupled with I'm jobless and have no one to complain to,

1. Who diagnosed you, a doctor in general practice or a Psychiatrist?

2. Where you prescribed medications?

3. Were you ever admitted based on the diagnosis?

3. The psychologist you met, is he/she a clinical/counselling psychologist?

Start by working towards convincing yourself of one truth and that truth is that there are no spiritual things or demons after you. You are not a special being that beings which you regard as demons should want to pay particular attention to you and only you. No such humans exist and no such beings either.

Once you are able to convince yourself of at least this, you should be able to overcome some of that darkness you carry with you. The rest is learning to accept your shame since we all have them just like you do, forgiving yourself of all that guilt and pain you bear, etc.

Be sure to do all of this as you continue getting psychological treatment from a professional abeg.

I have been battling with a very chronic anxiety disorder for years now,

it's so pitiful that I don't even know how to open up to someone, I'm an introvert,...

Tho I have done so with few people in the past, they tried their best but somehow it's still there,

I think anxiety is one of the worst thing anybody can experience in this life,

What is life without peace of mind and constant fears?

My anxiety is somehow about spirituality, paranormal, metaphysics etc

We're you diagnosed?
Whoever did the diagnosis should be the one to profer solution not Internet users.

Anxiety disorder is a mental health problem that should be treated by professionals only.
