He has a nature of buying young players cheap, nurturing them, before selling them on a high price as seen in the cases of Fagbregas, Nasri and Van Persie.

His method of prioritising Money over trophies seems outdated, as managers are not judged base on the money they generates for their teams rather the trophies they have won.
In 20years Wenger has Won 15 trophies, but in less than 15 years both Mourinho and Gurdiola have won more than 20 trophies including 2 champions league each. Whereas Wenger has none.

Wenger's arsenal record is impressive, but not good enough to be classified as successful.
