I pity them, it's better to die for your country and and be remembered as a hero than this.

I think the only time they will have a good fighting chance is when trump takes over and starve Ukraine of weapons.

I heard Russia is paying each north Korean soldier roughly $2000 every month
Does your country remember its own soldiers that died on the battle field?

These are the people that need to be taxed heavily. They have the money and they burn it quickly on foreign goods. If it is not a million naira champagne, it is a Ferrari that can't be driven in more than ten streets in Lagos. All their foreign earnings end up in foreign hands through their insatiable taste for foreign goods. They should be taxed heavily. The country made them and they should pay. Nigeria gains little from the millions they make from all these royalties. You seldom see their charitable works. Tax them!
The taxes them dey pay on the goods at the port of entry na wetin?

I thought all Anambra people are billionaires?
One Anambra person on Nairaland recently claimed that no single Anambra person would go out chasing Xmas packages owing to what happened in Ibadan recently..
How the idiot was quick to make reference to Ibadan without knowing that such would befall his billionaire communities in a higher magnitude is embarrassing.
How I wish someone can pull up that rubbish tweet on Nairaland..?

But today, what do we have...
The stampede coming from Anambra is embarrassing and more alarming that even adults lost their lives when compared to kids statistically.
Hunger knows no tribe. But pride & chest beating knows Anambra.
We have to grow above primordial sentiments, tribalism and idiocy.
Join hands to attack your common enemy.....the politicians, bad citizens and fake pastors
Are all the people in your state billionaires?

"Fresh graduates in Switzerland can sweep up a CHF100k". That was my statement. Emphasis on the "can". That was not an outright flat rate, but stating the possibility on what's possible Yet! you claimed I was misleading people. CHF 90k(salary alone) is very common, adding yearly bonus, the 100k is normal. But flat 100k is also possible for a few industries because the country has a very good pay rating

Next time try and ask for clarity. In your spare time, you can look up Blind platform and levels.fyi to see real reported salaries for swiss companies. When you think something is impossible, there's high chance it's because your information exposure is limited for the possibility
Well, you misled people to day that 100k is the standard. Look at your post again. 100k is not standard pay for a fresh graduate except they have a phd. 90-95k is the standard in that regard.

Switzerland train their kids to use guns from age 5. Still started since WWI or so.

In fact there’s national competition that enrol from that age.

This is fact! Stop misleading yourself.
You did not even read the article you posted. It is not obligstory to do this. Its a sport wctivity and not do e in preparation for war or any eventuality. Nobody and i repeat no child is obligated to learn to shoot as a prep for war or otherwise in school. It is not part of the school programme.

You are also part of tbe problem. I don't even live in Nigeria but I won't degrade my country of birth.

Again there is absolutely no reason for the poster to degrade Nigeria. He isn't even Nigeria by birth

The irony is the same Nigeria yall are degrading is a fertile land of opportunity for others. Isn't it ironic that the Chinese Indians and Lebanese have all taken over manufacturing in Nigeria? What magic wand do they have that we don't ?

Someone I know sold his flourishing packaging business to a Lebanese before Covid and relocated. The Lebanese man has grown the business 5 fold and even exports to 3 other west African countries while my friend is struggling to do three jobs to pay rent.

During his free time you will find him on social media cursing out the government.

God bless Nigeria.
Ask the people who don’t speak poorly of their country, and you’ll find a sense of patriotism instilled in them by the trust they have in their government. This trust stems from the government fulfilling its civic duties to its citizens. Now, let me ask you: what civic duty has your government fulfilled for you as a citizen?

You provide your own water, electricity, and security. You have to send your children to private schools because public education is inadequate. There is no functional healthcare system. As a Nigerian, you are poorer today than you were 10 years ago. So, what exactly has your government done for you to earn your loyalty or patriotism?

This is the difference between why citizens of countries like China or Lebanon don’t criticize their governments—they benefit from at least one or all of these basic services. So, tell me, why should I stay silent and not speak out? Evil thrives when good people do nothing.

Was it not because Kemi spoke up that the police issued a memo instructing officers not to arrest people unnecessarily during this period? If you think staying silent is doing your country justice, you’re mistaken. In fact, silence in the face of injustice makes you an enemy of your nation’s development.

In some industries like high tech, especially with a PhD from an elite university, 100K would be the starting salary. In commodity industries, that is surpassed when bonuses are included.

So Hannania is correct.
Now you are putting in attachements to the case. There is no where in switzerland a fresh graduate (which he meant either bachelor or masters) in switzerland earns 100k basic salary. Nobody was talking about bonus. When you sign a work contract, they dont talk to you about bonus. Its a priviledge, the company can decide not to give that yewr and nothing will happen..

The pay in Switzerland is challenged only by what you can earn in the US. Na you carry your EU savings enter there grin grin. Fresh graduates in Switzerland can sweep up a CHF 100k/yr salary which is equivalent to $111k. You need 10 years of experience to stand a chance (not getting it) in Netherlands or Norway. They also have lower taxes than the other low paying EU countries in context.

The swiss built that country differently, and it's why getting citizenship there is a nightmare of waiting
No fresh graduate will get 100k a year. Stop misleading people
