ReneeNuttall:You people always talking of rotting in jail when crimes like this one are committed are part of the problem. Crimes like this should carry the death sentence, there cannot be anything less. This beast drowned a poor three year old boy and you are talking of rotting in jail ![]() I smh for Nigerians. #SupportDeathPenalty. |
There is a trend on nairaland I have observed. Whenever there is a call for Biafra or any thread about Biafra, you will notice people shouting at Igbos asking why they want another war. Some will even say they don't want another refugee situation, bla bla bla. My question therefore is why is a call for separate existence seen as a call for war? If a partner in a marriage says they want a divorce how is that seen as a call to take up knives and clubs to fight? Someone educate me please. Where have you heard people shouting 'One Germany, One Ghana, One Canada, etc' before? |
Alcatraz003:Were you talking about hate and bile again?

QuotaSystem:What alliances did the Yorubas build before Obasanjo was brought out of prison and made president? If nothing at that time they were causing chaos everywhere and even had their secret Radio Kudirat. |
chowlade:I don't expect much sense from the daughter of a babalawo. ![]() Abeg swerve and stop splashing juju spit everywhere. ![]()
|
obailala:I meant to say that the senator that came to meet the police on their behalf i.e. kwankwaso is hausa fulani. I never meant ambode please. |
Nigerians made Obasanjo president even though the yorubas then didn't want him and they voted massively against him. Nigeria should select an Igbo man and make him president. It was done for the Yorubas and it can be done for the Igbos. |

The culprit is Oluwole Falaseye. Nuff said

..... |
obailala:You think the police released those hausa miscreants juts because their governor came around? They were relased because the said senator(kwankwaso) is hausa/fulani. That is the diference. Even Wole Soyinka has said that in Nigeria today the hausa/fulani are first class citizens, others are just there. |

The Niger Delta should declare their republic for themselves and leave Biafra out of it. Biafra is for Igboland only. We will however accept those willing to be part of us after consultations if Nigeria breaks |
SlayerSupreme:True, You can see them dragging Biafra into the quest for sovereignty but some people will continue to shout attache' by force. |
Karm16:At this rate, a lot of Igbos are willing to pay any price. There's so much injustice against the Igbos in this country. Today we are categorised as 5%. Today, an Igbo man cannot aspire to be president because there is this unwritten law that they will never allow an Igboman rule this country. Tell me why I should wish my children to grow up unde these wicked conditions. This is for our children and those unborn. We know it will be tough at the beginning, we know we will lose properties and all that but the future of our children is worth it. There's so much hatred for the Igbo in this country. |

Aufbauh:Oga, you are free to take em all, that blackmail is becoming stale. There is nothing like freedom, where you can aspire to be president and not be classified as 5%. This is about our children not necessarily us. |
CriticMaestro:You are a light weight. You better watch your tongue because if you want to throw insults, you cannot go that route with me trust me. I will oretend that I did not read your insults. Now the UN was well involved in those operations, they supplied weaponry. You can never be so certain Nigeria will win. And when you say Nigeria what exactly do you mean? The MB will not join the hausa/fulani to fight the east again(thanks to the fulani herdsmen) The hausa/fulani would have to fight alone unless the yorubas decide to support them. Even that will not guarantee their victory. All the east needs is a support from a major power in the world. Wars hardly end these days. |
GODKID98: ![]() How delusional can one get? Nigeria soldiers only win when they have overwelming advantage over the other side. During the Biafran war, Nigeria was able to win because of the massive support from the UK and the USSR. They were supplied enough heavy mobile armour, feret cars, artilley and so on. Infact, Russia gave Nigeria 115mm artllery guns which was among the best obtainable at that time. With all these, Biafran soldiers armed largely with bolt action rifles were able to hold their own. Nigeria suffered heavier military casuaties than Biafra. It was starvation that killed a great number of Igbos during that war. The Nigerian militay out of frustration was killing women and children especially adekunle. Look at Odi. The military could not kill a single militant there but levelled the place killing women and children in large numbers. Look at the Nigerian military operations at Liberia & Sierra leone, Nigeria suffered very heavy casualties which is why they have continued to hide the figures. Despite that, Nigeria was able to perform there(with heavy losses) because they were supplied massively by the UN unlike the rebels. See how they killed shiite protesters. See how the go about shooting unarmed protesters in the east. This is not 1967, this is 2016, wake up bro. |
GODKID98:I'm sure you meant the best at killing unarmed civilians right? |
DONSMITH123:She forgot that she is part of the 5%. |
omenka, you were calling Igbos attache' by force to Niger Delta but you can see how they have brought Biafra into their struggle now. |
Obi Ezekwesili trying to redeem her image after binhari has dumped her in the trash can for being 5% She has been waiting for appointment since but none is coming her way. The other hausa/fulani lady has been rewarded with a top appointment at NPA.

– Adaka Boro Avengers vow to continue the declaration of an independent Niger Delta Republic – The group said it will collaborate with Biafra agitators – The militants vowed that heads will roll if there is any attempt to stop them. The Adaka Boro Avengers (ADA) has lashed out at the Niger Delta Avengers for announcing a ceasefire and has promised to declare a Niger Delta Republic on October 1. The Avengers announced on Sunday, August 1 that they were ready to negotiate with the federal government and stop the vandalism of oil and gas pipelines. The group announced a ceasefire and named Edwin Clark as the leader of its negotiation team. This ceasefire also ends the planned declaration of a Niger Delta Republic on October 1 by the group but this has been frowned at by Adaka Boro Avengers who insisted they would go ahead with the secession. In a statement issued by Edmos Ayayeibo who is the spokesperson of the group, it said it rejects any form of negotiation with the federal government. “There is no going back this time round.” “We the Adaka Boro Avengers are throwing our weight behind the Niger Delta Avengers on the declaration of Niger Delta Republic come October 1. Our earlier abortion of the declaration was at the instance of the Niger Delta Republic. This time round, there’s no going back and Nigerians should expect a different country call Niger Delta Republic. “Arrangements have been concluded for the declaration. The people of the Niger Delta region are tired of President Muhammadu Buhari and his APC misrule, and we have decided to go and no one can stop us. “The matter at hand is more than any police force or military personnels.” The group said it was ready to collaborate with Biafra agitators to actualise their October 1 dreams and that it would be launching a radio station in two weeks that would broadcast their message regularly. “We’re also using this medium to call on our neighbours, Biafrans to use this opportunity to achieve their dream because all arrangements have been concluded for the success. We are also using this opportunity to tell the Federal government of Nigeria that we ADAKA BORO AVENGERS are not ready for any form of dialogue. “Two weeks from today the Nigerian nation will hear our live broadcast from our radio station, the Niger Delta radio station, which will continue broadcast until the October 1 declaration. October 1, is a day we have set aside for history to be made in the world. So the Nigerian government should not try to stop us, because if they do, heads will roll and still history will be made. “So, we are not afraid of anyone, police or military personnels, because our foreign backers are currently fighting with so many countries in the world without fear. “Lastly, the whole nation will be destabilised. What the Niger Delta leaders should do now is to call their people in other states to return home immediately. Only restructuring of Nigerian nation will stop our October 1 declaration.” It will be recalled that the group had earlier scheduled to declare an independent region in August 1 but cancelled the declaration and credited former president Goodluck Jonathan for reaching out to them. The group had ordered Yorubas and Hausas out of the Niger Delta region and called on Niger Delta people to return for the declaration. vedaxcool:I understood your point but I just wanted to point these facts out for you to see. It looks like the north owns this country and that is the real cause of anger and frustration in the east. We all should be equal stake holders in the Nigerian project. |
vedaxcool:In essence, the unity of one Nigeria is only about ND oil... and in another word, the north is the owner of Nigeria and determines what happens to every region...what an evil country! What a slavic country for those who are not northerners! This is a classic summary of the write up. |
