When love is in the air, it makes lovers want to break rules and they want to go extra mile for one another but what happens when love abruptly disappear into the thin air? Many people who have experienced loss of enthusiasm in their relationships usually ask these questions; God why? Why me oh Lord? Why is this happening to me/us? They ask the questions of ‘why’. Diminishing Feelings:- It’s high time we came to agreement that people change so does feelings, after all change is constant (popular saying). The number one element of love is feelings. Some lovebirds have the ability to be patient and will always work to get things to workout when they perceive this but wouldn’t get it done because trying to wake a dead feeling is as good as feeling a basket with water. Trust:- Just like feelings, trust is also a very important element of love, many would agree with me that it is the most important aspect of love. I am certain that whether you see trust as the most important element/aspect of love or not, you’ll agree with me that where you no longer see the integrity and honesty your partner used to possess, it poses a big threat to your relationship. Growing up was damn fun (sorry if yours wasn’t), we get a lot of love from people who owe us nothing. We get love from family members, friends of our parents, neighbours, teachers, nannies etc. The best of the loves we get while growing up was that from our parents. It was easy to get love then. After all, a child only knows how to get plenty and give little. As a child, the best you give back when showed love is to smile back, which is always cute. But, we get to a stage in life when we ought to give more than we get carelessly, to remain happy. We eventually grow past the time of always getting love from people, now we have to give back to the people. Most people find their first love in their tender age (14-18), when they are still teenagers. Alas! It doesn’t last as it promised to when it began. But why? Apparently, we all have loved someone in the past (maybe still love them), someone we thought we’d be with for life. We love at very tender age, we knew not what love really entail but we did love anyways. It’s usually like heaven ordained, we struggle less for it (for most people), it mostly starts like a miracle. Some didn’t have to go through the stress of wooing or impressing their first love, it begins by setting eyes on each other alone. Some found theirs in a classroom in high school.
