Which other side of Brazil are not shared? It seems you have doubt about Brazil and having double thoughts about your decision.
If you have any doubt about Brazil you don't wait for people on this thread to share it. Do more research on your own. There are so many resources on YouTube, etc that you can get more information about Brazil. Don't wait for anyone to share it hear.
Hearing Nigerians being this skeptical about Brazil it baffles me.

You don't need birth certificates. But your police character will have to go to Brasilia to the embassy. Then there's paperwork to be done, before beginning the final application process in whichever city you're located in. Most likely you will have to extend but I don't see that as a big issue.
Thanks,

I understand I don't need to Legalize my own birth certificate.

But please do I need to legalize my marriage certificate and my older child’s birth certificate at the Nigerian Embassy in Brasilia for the Permanent Residency application?. I have an older child who is 2 years old and was born in Nigeria.

Letsmove:
Call Nigeria Embassy in Brasilia and they will direct you on what to do. You only need your Police Character Certificate for both of you to be authenticated. Your birth certificates are not necessary at this point.
Thank you so much I will call them by Monday. Please when would our birth certificates be required? Or birth certificates is not required all through the Permanent Residency application?

I'm afraid you are already late .
We can extend the entry stamp to another 90 days if we are not able to meet up before our initial 90 days entry stamp expires. It's not much of an issue although it's extra stress though.

We are on tourist visa in Brazil and we don't have residents permit yet. My wife delivered few days ago and we want to apply for PR.
Do we need to authenticate our Police Character Certificate at the embassy of Brazil in Lagos or we need to authenticate it at the Nigerian embassy in Brasilia and how do we go about it if it's to be at the Nigerian embassy in Brazil? Is it by sending it via courier or one needs to go to Brasilia? Please I need help on this.
