Nigerians are reacting to an article posted by the Nation newspaper today Sunday December 15th which tackled President Buhari on the various political appointments.
The article written by one of the newpapers columnist, Femi Orebe, queried why most of the appointments were being handed to Nigerians from a particular region.
The article and tweet on the newspaper’s verified twitter handle has got people talking on Twitter especially since the newspaper, according to those on twitter, is allegedly owned by APC National leader, Bola Tinubu. Many wonder why the article criticing President Buhari would be approved for publishing.

Miss Nigeria 2019, Nyekachi Douglas has emerged Miss Africa 2019 in the concluded Miss World held in London.
Nyekachi Douglas who competed with about 113 other beauty queens made the Top 40 cut before she also one of the Top 12.
She didn’t stop there, she made the cut to Top 5 in the competition which was won by Miss Jamaica, Toni-Ann Singh while Miss India, Suman Rao, came in third place while Ophely Mezino of France was first runner-up.

DALB COUNTY, Ga. – Federal agents seized a jet Tuesday from a man charged in an international fraud scheme.
Only Channel 2 investigative reporter Aaron Diamant was at Peachtree DeKalb Airport as the federal agents processed the plane for evidence.
Diamant learned the seizure is just the latest in a growing list of local cases.
“For the most part, people don’t even understand.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has issued Russia a four-year ban from international sporting competition over doping failures.
The World Anti-Doping Agency’s board made the announcement after they convened on Monday for a meeting around the International Olympic Committee’s headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.

South east region governors have appealed to President Buhari to protect businessman and owner of Air Peace airline, Allen Onyema, in the wake of the recent $20 million fraud allegation leveled against Onyema by the United States Department of Justice.
Recall that the US Department of Justice released a statement a few weeks ago accusing Onyema alongside his airline’s Chief of Administration and Finance, Ejiroghene Eghagha, of “moving more than $20 million from Nigeria through some United States banks in a scheme involving false documents based on the purchase of airplanes.”
Eghagha was also accused of bank fraud and committing aggravated identity theft in connection with the scheme.

Nigeria's Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, recently revealed that the Buhari administration is currently undertaking 524 road and bridge construction projects across the country.
Fashola made the revelation while updating the Federal Executive Council (FEC) on the ongoing road and bridge construction/rehabilitation projects nationwide.
The Minister also revealed that every State in the Federation including the FCT has at least three such ongoing projects.
The list of the projects was released by the Minister Of Works and Housing provides a detailed record of ongoing road and bridge projects in the 36 states of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
