Good evening guys ... please can someone who has an error in his name on birth certificate use an affidavit to cover up when applying for france study visa?

This is sample. If the error is on ur birth cert but not on ur official document, u can easily get another birth certificate from National population commission in ur state where u re resident. Even if u have error of names on ur WAEC cert, u can use affidavit to normalise it.

It is very almost hard to see B1/B2 visa alert here this day.

U may have a good chance of getting d visa if u are on medical trip or study route or u had travelled before to States without overstaying ur intended days of ur vacation. Others whose cases are different na blue papers dem dey serve them.

If you don't believe me, and u can risk visa fee, go and try it and come back to give us report with ur transcripts.

Does anyone have idea of where to keep mobile phone securely before entering consular section at US embassy Lagos?

Both B2 and B1/B2 are visitor or tourist visas

But if ur visit purpose is medical related, select B2.

1. The" Applicant Visa Information Tracking System (AVITS Amentum) is still a newborn baby. Let's give it little time to grow with patience.

2. Clear your browser catche/history, change your browser or use another gadget to browse (IP issue) or restart your browsing gadget ie laptop, pad or android phones.

3. Aside of the fact that AVITS Amentum is new, all USA embassy websites for VISA application are security/privacy orientated, and they reacts with constant visits.

Please, on the appointment confirmation page, it has like 5 pages. Should I print out all the pages or first page that contains my application details only

I was trying to loginto my account on the new visa service portal, but the portal was not responding and my internet network is working fine. Who else encounters similar issue among us here. See the attached screenshot

I received password reset link to reset my password on d new portal which I did successfully.

Upon downloading my new appointment letter, I was surprised that the letter came without my appointment details. No applicant name, no application no, no passport number, no visa type written on it. So I cannot present it as my own.

I have attempted to create a ticket and attach the letter but it didn't attach. Meanwhile, I still have d previous appointment letter from d old portal and My appointment is coming next week.

Please advise me on what to do

Hey 🤠

1. There should be clickable link in that email which should take your sister to the new page where she can print a new VISA appointment letter. If there is none, do not panic, she will receive another email before the D day. If, around 1 - week to the new appointment she did not receive such mail, then she can call the helpline.

My sister has interview on Friday 30th of August but embassy sent mail to her today that her appointment date has been rescheduled for 18th of Sept.

My question now is, which proof for the new appointment confirmation will she present to the embassy? Can she printout the email sent by US embassy as regard d new appointment date and present it on he interview date.
