As I watched PMB's stewardship packaged as 'The Next Level' which is currently being aired by TV station across the nation. One thing struck my attention and it is the fact that in the history of our existence, only PMB has led for over 3 years without business partners and associates which the politician usually used to siphon public wealth.

Atiku monumentally exploited this during his time with OBJ and we all saw he's today a trillionare.

Our we progress into next fiscal year I implore all and sundry to tend towards PMB for better Nigeria.

God bless FRN.

There's no panic in PMB's camp at all..that was exactly why Atiku will continually worship OBJ for spiritual cleansing as OBJ remains the only factor to lobby the corrupt cronies and allies within international communities.

Worst case Atiku travels, and that doesn't erase the fact that He a direct epitome of corruption in Nigeria.

Stop being ignoramus.

The NASS (Parliament) owns the National purse in all democracies and gives the Executive whatever it agrees to spend.

The Democrats in US padded the last budget with more than $500 billion which Trump hesitated and finally signed.

Be versatility and stop repeating this foolish Nigerian mantra called Budget padding. It is called give and take or lobbying in democracies which is perfectly legal
I refused to agree with you that padding with direct constituency projects without national priority but solely for looting is legal.

Dr NOI openly declared that the cost of passing only 2015 budget was 20 billion. Same amount was the first released to the legislator who are also legalised to execute projects.

I will not agree with you.

PoliticsPublic Extortion On Waste, lasg To Hear This. by Remoter(op): 8:43pm On Jun 10, 2018
I woke up this morning at Palm Avenue, mushin,south-west, Lagos, Nigeria to see independent garbage truck operator operating like old Aboki.

This operator is aware of the huge refuse deposited in all households and has decided to charge them between 1000 to 1500 naira to dispose off their waste.

This arrangement is far different from the monthly payment of 4800 to 6000 which is compulsory for each houses to pay into the account of PSP waste collector initiated by the local government authority with the consent of the state government.

The following are my concerns:

1. How many unlawful taxes would lagosians be made to pay on waste disposal.

2. Who authorise such an unlawful trip within the metropolis.

3. What is the guarantee that there will be proper disposal of these waste at the designated dump sites.

4. Why are legitimate PSP operators in Mushin and other parts of Lagos return to weekly waste collection as to once monthly currently being done without reduction in taxes.

5. When would the Government completely lay waste issue to rest.

6. If 4 above isn't addressed, why won't lagosians capitalise on the raining season and start using the drains to avert unlawful extortion devised by the local authorities.

These issues are crucial and shouldn't be handled with levity.

By concerned Lagosian.

MISCHIEF OR IGNORANCE......
FACTS WOULD ALWAYS GLOW.
FESTUS KEYAMO Says:

"Those who hate PMB so much that even if PMB tarred roads to their bedroom, they'll still hate him, those who love corruption far above anything, my job is to make them very unhappy, my job is to add to their sorrow. For those who hate corruption and love a better Nigeria, my job is to raise their hope..."

"In 5 years GEJ Govt earned $420b but still depleted Foreign Reserves. 24 states couldn't pay salaries, PMB earned $54b in 3 years, bailed out states, constructing railways in double standard gauge, expanding Second Niger Bridge from 2m to 7km, embarking on mass housing, reconstructing major roads across the country and still raised the Foreign Reserves by 100%....Common!!!!"

"You said the economy is worse and you said I should not talk about the past, how did you know that the economy is worse, what and what do you compare?"

If Okonjo Iweala, a woman that had seen it all could come out to say at an American conference that the SEED OF THIS RECESSION WAS PLANTED DURING THE JONATHAN REGIME DUE TO OUR LACK OF FINANCIAL DISCIPLINE, INABILITY AND LACK OF POLITICAL WILL TO SAVE. People should not blame jonathan alone for this because the profligate Nigerian Governors too are culpable. He attempted to save, but the governors demanded to take all the savings citing constitutional right. Money they took and Stole at the same time. Our case is pathetic.
Do you know that:
Obasanjo's administration earned # 17trn from crude oil sales within eight years and left behind 45bn dollars external reserves and 3.348bn dollars external debt.
Yaradua grew the reserves to 64bn dollars within just one year and the administration was able to finance 15 months of imports despite the 2008/2009 world economic meltdown. Hence, Nigeria survived the melt down because of the political will by the administration to save(a great achievement by Yaradua which most Nigerians are not aware of). Despite the tough economic reality at that time, Yaradua left 47.7bn dollars in reserves and an external debt of 3.94bn dollars. Meanwhile, the administration earned only # 9trn from crude oil sales within that short period.
Now, Jonathan administration witnessed an oil boom when Brent crude sold for over 100 dollars/barrel, with the regime earning # 51trn within a period of 5years. But because of corruption, the administration did not only squander the oil revenue but even depleted the reserves left by Yaradua, leaving just 32bn dollars and a huge external debt of 63bn dollars for Buhari. The same Brent crude sold for as low as 35 dollars/barrel at a point shortly after Buhari took over power and had only managed to climb to about 70 dollars just recently.
These are facts that can be verified. So, it's amazing hearing people criticize Buhari for the hunger in the land.
According to Fashola, Buhari's administration inherited 206 uncompleted road projects and contract arrears worth #2.1trn from Jonathan; and for about 2 to 3 years the contractors where not paid. This slowed down the economic activities, with most of the companies laying off their staff. This was when the seed of recession was sowed.
It's obvious that Buhari came in to rescue Nigeria, because if Jonathan had continued in power, the nation's economic crisis would have been worse, perhaps even the Federal government wouldn't have been able to pay salaries of civil servants by now.
According to Okonjo Iweala, Nigeria started borrowing money to pay salaries since October, 2014; but today Nigeria now borrow money for investment in capital projects.
Those who blame Buhari for the current hardship do so either out of mischief (hatred) or ignorance. So, we shouldn't join the bandwagon in criticising him. He may not have done much to save the situation, considering that he is not a perfect human being but he means well for the country and can only succeed with our prayers.
May Almighty God continue to guide Buhari.
Why not share this piece with others for the sake of enlightenment and conscious prayers for our nation.

You ended up shooting yourself on the foot. So now you know high international fuel price result in high landing cost? How is the differential cost of landing sorted out? Is it not through subsidy? Was this not the case in previous govt, yet they were able to sell fuel at 97/litre? Unlike this visionless govt that is presently selling above N145 despite sinking N1.4 trillion in background subsidy.
The higher the international oil price, the higher the landing cost, the higher the subsidy. QED!
Let me help you do justice to your position:
1. "..So now you know high international fuel price result in high landing cost? How is the differential cost of landing sorted out?". I made this known earlier that rather than transferring the price increase burden to the masses you just narrowly exited recession, Buhari gave a nod to NNPC on sorting out the differentials as trading loss.
2. "Is it not through subsidy?" Yes it is but not the popular one you are familiar with. Here, it is like saying using our crude to set off high landing cost.
3. "Was this not the case in previous govt, yet they were able to sell fuel at 97/litre? Unlike this visionless govt that is presently selling above N145 despite sinking N1.4 trillion in background subsidy." It was not. Subsidy mentioned under PDP was well appropriated for and that was why PDP developed ghost importer who collected money for work they never do in connivance with PPR,DPR,PPMC,NAVY and other agencies involved. The money paid here were being looted and shared among the Elites, then Presidency, NASS and co inclusive.
Please see below for detailed analysis of how the shared our common wealth legitimately and Buhari still finding it difficult to get evidence for prosecution and read further.

You are funny and deceptive op. What Buhari is doing is wrong. When will we change in this country?
We are back to subsidy. Tell your under recovery to illiterates. To make it more dangerous, there is no appropriation for this 1plus trillion. How can you allow NNPC (headquarters of corruption) to spend funds without budgeting for it? With people like Abba Kyari on NNPC board? Stop this nonsense. If you really love this govt, learn to criticise them when they are going wrong.
Let us be factual on this please, PMB doesn't want any citizen to pay more on PMS due to little boom the economy is enjoying. However, he doesn't also want to revert to very corrupt subsidy regime hence the decision to allow NNPC take full responsibility.

Only three options were available then
1. To completely deregulate and allow market forces to determine price which will be bore by citizens 100%
2. To fully start subsidy and allow elites who already have a sealed relationship with DPR, NNPC,PPMC and NAVY to fully come back and continue to milk our slim economy.
3. To shield the cost completely from the populace and allow fractions of our crude oil profit earned by NNPC to also be used for the differential cost.

PMB only opted for the best on our interest. Let be appreciative of his humane effort.

Incase you are too busy to find the truth, here is the opening sentence made please read "Nigeria records about N1.4 trillion yearly as under-recovery from its importation and sale of Premium Motor Spirit at N145 per litre, Petroleum Resources Minister Ibe Kachikwu said yesterday."

The under-recovery came into being as a result of high landing cost which was due to increase in price of crude oil from international mkt which we are direct beneficiary and low selling price at #145.

I have read very carefully sponsored article written by the spoke person of GEJ- Reno - and other e-warriors misinforming the public that Buhari has paid subsidy to the tune of 1.4 trillion. The following are the facts which can be verified from sane individuals and quarters:

1. GEJ actually paid legitimate and illegitimate subsidy - Legitimate to true importers and illegitimate to individual who NEVER made any importation. Illegitimate importers actually dominated GEJ's administration.
2. GEJ's Govt actually used that illegitimate payments to loot public treasury and that was the major concern of the then opposition.
3. Buhari on assumption of office felt the need to evenly distribute national resources through strategic capital projects scrapped subsidy and Nigerians were made to purchase a ltr of PMS at #145 when crude oil barrel was as low as $30.
4. Nigeria once again incurred rising revenue due to increase in the prices of crude at OPEC market hence the increase in the landing cost of refined PMS.
5. The Elite who are responsible for importation, connived and mounted pressure on FG to revert to the dark days of FREE SUBSIDY and PMB declined.
6. PMB however supported NNPC who has the statutory mandate to transact oil business on behalf of the nation to solely import PMS and ensure it is sold at same price that will keep #145 to Nigerians from all marketers.
7. NNPC however from the huge income being made from sales of crude will also import for Nigerians and regard the differential cost as trading loss. SIMPLE ECONOMICS!.
8. Kachukwu corroborated the trading loss - http://thenationonlineng.net/petrol-import-loss-hits-n1-4tr/ - but misrepresented by sponsored e-warriors who are bent on discrediting this administration at all cost leveraging on the relaxed attitude of our fact finding culture.

PMB has demonstrated compassion by not transferring the burden of the increase in crude oil price from the OPEC market to Nigerians, where NASS miscreants and ELITES will only wait for such money to be remitted and shared for white elephant projects, subsidy and allowances.

In addition to other modular refining capacities built and being built, Dangote refinery will come on stream before end of the year and PMB is allowing the full Govt support as it would tremendously help in that regard.

The govt had spent trillions since inception fixing our refineries but with efforts of saboteurs - Militants inclusive - embedded in the system by PDP, cannot allow these refineries to fully deliver.
