[quote author=dumdum001 post=32188848] I was wondering,my test were also rejected and it cost more than $120 for all the test i did. Its not a doctor that accessed you at the womens health centre, its a midwife that does it on behalf of the obgyn. Its only midwifes they have at the health centre, you can confirm the next time you go there. I have had 4 different appointments there and i also spoke with christine. |

[quote author=dumdum001 post=32188245]For the benefit of those looking to come to N.Y. Il be using wyckoff heights medical centre. Got the following quotes from them: *maternity package for selfpay is $6500 includes hosp fee, doctors fee, paed and anaesthesia *$130 per doctors appointment (I don't intend to go there if I don't have any complaints sha) *I paid $120 for all the lab work (my doctor rejected all the tests I did in Nigeria, accepted only the scan reports. *$241 per scan done I'll like to ask you some questions cos i am also using Wyckoff, how many tests did you do that cost you $120 since all your test were rejected and how were you able to see a doctor without paying the $130 at the womens health centre. From what i know you have to pay the fees at the womens health centre so you can be registered in their system and also see a midwife. You don't see a doctor until you are about to deliver. I'll like to know how you were able to see a doctor, thanks. |

Cbp: what are you here for? Me: vacation and childbirth Cbp: who is this lady with you Me: my mum Cbp: hope you paid for her ticket Me: yes i did Cbp: why do you want to give birth here Me: better health care Cbp: when are you due Me: next month Cbp: so you trust the doctors in your country to tell you the due date( he smiled and said don't mind me just pulling your legs) Me: i smiled back Cbp: i can see you already declared you have more than $10k, it's ok to give birth here as long as you can pay your fees and declare your intentions He stamped i and my mum in for 6months and said have a wonderful birth, he sent me to secondary inspection to declare the cash. I got to secondary inspection, filled the form and i was asked the agricultural products i had which i answered and our bags were not checked. That's my poe story. 13 Likes |
