Okamgba6:Did you try to log in again after it redirected you? For me, I have the page permanently opened on a tab so verifying I'm human is my own starting point then I login. Identity verification next and a code is then sent to my mobile. I suggest you try another browser and see if it's still the same thing. |
Ayo112:Your application ID isn't supposed to be different since it's an appeal on the same application. That may be an error. I'll suggest you send the embassy an email with this screenshot and don't forget to put your application ID in the subject too. On a second thought, that is probably the initial AVATS form you must have filled and you didn't proceed with. Any AVATS you fill shows on the ISD portal as application received. I just remembered that I had to fill AVATS twice last year and the initial one I filled is showing that way on my portal as well. |
Ayo112:No worries at all. I think you should attempt registering again. I registered immediately after AVATS submission late June but I don't think there's anything you can do on the portal if you don't register. |
Ayo112:On the immigration portal, under status, it updated to "Appeal received" about a week after DHL delivered it.

iyemizee:August!!! That's crazy o. I sent them my deferral too. The waiting continues. |
Ayo112:Co-asking please. Submitted my appeal since early September. They acknowledged receipt 12th September and I'm still waiting till now |
Okamgba6:The list is non-exhaustive. Things like a signed sponsorship letter from your friend, evidences to show how long you've been friends with pictures, bank transactions, email conversations etc. Your friend must prove that sponsoring you won't incapacitate them in any way. Bank statements, letter of employment, payslips, explanation of every lump sum. Check the Irish website for other requirements for sponsors but surplus information and proof is always better than basic information. Swear affidavit if needed. Anything that may be questioned or flagged, explain it. Check online for the reason people get refusals and mitigate against such. |
ACSH:A friend can sponsor or co-sponsor,but you must be able to prove that friendship beyond reasonable doubt with evidence. Everything required of sponsors is on the Irish website. Okamgba6:Me too. MBA |
Cindy101:I tried different things so I can't remember which worked for sure because I signed up since June after submitting my application on AVATS at the time. In the phone number part, put your full number with the 2340, put it with just 234 then without the first digit which is 0 in this case or try with the 0. If your number is 09087XXXXXX, try it as 23409087XXXXXX then as 2349087XXXXXX then 9087XXXXXX or as 09087XXXXXX. One of the formats will go through. Don't try all simultaneously. Give like 5minutes between each format. |
Jiggy77:Here it is: https://portal.irishimmigration.ie/en/applications/ |
Franklinstyle:Track here https://www.vfsvisaonline.com/Global-PassportTracking/ |

I'm hoping that's not the case because I'm drained from the whole process already. |
Franklinstyle:It was majorly incomplete documentation and apparently, my reasons for wanting to study in Ireland weren't convincing enough to the visa officer. They also said my course was at odds with my career which wasn't the case but since it's an MBA I'm going for, I broke it down and justified it well in the appeal so fingers crossed. |
Rikkym:My application got to the embassy July 7 and I got my passport back by August 29th. Had to appeal though so now I'm still waiting for feedback |
