The only condition dat makes evil triumph over good is when good men sit back and do nothing. One man can actually change d country but dats if we co - operate. I am one of those who beleive everything is possible. |
All hail d blues. INTER DIE WELL FOR STANFORD BRIDGE |
1. Too much money 2. Too much style 3. The debt they are owing is unbelievably high 4. Fear of the blues |
Guys, lets be realistic here. I am a chelsea fan but i don't support wat Terry did but I still believe Bridge is taking this whole thing too far. If he likes, let him leave d England squad, its not gonno make any big difference. What else does he want- Terry has been stripped of captaincy, does he want Terry to be dropped from the squad? Thats certainly not possible |

In a world where conflict is trying to become a way of life, there is every reason for you to learn how to live peacefully with your neighbour and make this world a better place. It’s very common and natural for conflicts to arise because we are human beings and we all have different mentalities, ways of thinking, capacities to accept changes and so on. But when these conflicts arise (whether at home, in the office, in the church, in the market, in the school or even in the streets), do we kill our selves because we want to prove a point? Here is the key to resolving conflict and still have your relationship in-tact: Be soft on the person involved, but be hard on the issue. Now this is what I mean, if there is an issue (whether at home, in the office, in the church, in the market, in the school or even in the streets) that needs to be treated, have this in your mind- • The person involved is more important than the issue. Therefore treat the person with some sense of respect, have regard for his personality because if you destroy a person’s confidence and positive self image because of one issue, you might have destroyed the person’s image for life. So try as much as you can to separate ‘the person’ from the ‘act’. Be soft on the person. • Be hard on the issue. No matter the level of relevance or importance you attach to an issue, one thing is certain, ‘if it’s not right, it’s not’. Treat every issue (remove the person involved) as hard as you can so everyone can know it’s a wrong act. I hope you have learnt from this article. I pledge to Nigeria my country To be faithful, loyal & honest To serve Nigeria with all my heart To defend her unity And uphold her honour & glory So help me God Without an iota of doubt, Nigeria is blessed and highly favoured than some other nations. The only reason we are still classified under the ‘developing nations’ category or as a ‘third world country’ is because the people in this great nation lack the ability to harness their potentials positively and those that actually made it to the top get so puffed up in pride that they don’t want any other person to get there. For your knowledge, here are some of the reasons why our nation is more likely to succeed (only if we really want to) than others: • No natural disasters. Our great country is one of those few nations that do not encounter natural disasters and as such we do not need to go about begging or borrowing money to aid or re-develop the economy and re-build our nation. All our money should go into developing the economy since there is nothing to worry about in terms of disasters. • Blessed with lots of mineral resources. Apart from the crude oil (which every one is running after), we have numerous untapped mineral resources that can provide millions of naira for the country. We have coal, tin, iron…………… and lots of agricultural products. • Highly innovative people. We all know that Nigerians are very innovative, even though most of their innovations are in the negative perspective. There is nothing a Nigerian cannot do, ranging from education to the economy and even the internet, you will find that one way or the other, a Nigerian is behind the scene. The only thing we need to do is to focus our innovative ability on the positive part of life and move this nation forward. • No suicide bombers. Nigerians have not and will never be involved in any car / suicide bombing because they love their lives. I remember a joke a comedian once said on stage. Paraphrasing, he said “If you promise a Nigerian that you will give his family money, and that all he needs to do is to detonate a bomb in a plane and die alongside the people in the plane, he will tell you to give him the money and let his family do the job for you”. • Witchcraft is done secretly. In Nigeria, if by any mistake, people get to know that you are a witch, I will say God is on your side if they don’t kill you instantly. Unlike some other countries where witchcraft is legalised, a witch or a possessed person in Nigeria hides his/her identity. |
