I came across an academic call-for-papers initiative and thought it might interest researchers and students here.

It’s part of a model where approved research papers are evaluated, and in some cases, researchers may receive monthly recognition/support depending on approval and quality of work.

The submission period for the May 2026 cycle is reportedly between 10th May – 27th May, 2026.

Researchers, students, academics, professionals, and independent innovators are encouraged to submit original work in different fields.

The research categories include:

TECHNOLOGY

* Technology solutions addressing economic hardship, unemployment, inflation, digital inclusion, and productivity challenges.

SCIENCE / HEALTH

* Studies around mental health in the modern world, including psychological wellbeing, stress management, healthcare systems, and societal impacts.

GOVERNMENT & POLICY

* Research on migration, borders, global stability, diplomacy, governance, human rights, and international relations.

BUSINESS & FINANCE

* Work focused on sustainable business models, entrepreneurship, financial systems, investment strategies, and long-term economic growth.

Submissions are accepted in English or indigenous Nigerian languages depending on the researcher.

It seems to be part of a growing trend where research output is being structured beyond traditional academic grading systems.

Has anyone seen similar models where research papers are evaluated beyond school grading and tied to structured support or recognition?
